If I was Scream Factory I'd save the NOES announcement for Comic-Con. Even with a late July announcement it'd still be far enough in advance for a late October release without Amazon or other retailers spoiling things.

I feel like it would get leaked before that somehow. Probably by Robert England or someone else mentioning to somebody that they’re doing an interview for one of the films, or something like that.

I'm pretty sure retailers have spoiled Comic-Con announcements before for titles that were scheduled later than October.

I want them to announce it asap so I know if its worth getting. Getting them all remastered from a 4k scan on seperate discs would be great. The original films deleted scenes from the elite LD would be better. The uncut version of 5 would be great. The workprint version of 4 with the original kills Renny Harlin created to draw the MPAA’s ire would be the best. New interviews with some of th NSA no shows ie Craig Wasson would be great too.

A couple of more August titles i expect and one september title this month and next month is when september titles with a couple of october will be announce and we go to the BIG one in July.

Is it a stretch that maybe just maybe Scream Factory could get Cursed 2005? The unrated version of course... I actually enjoyed the movie, but I don't like that edited neutered PG-13 version they have on blu that is also cropped from it's 2.35 ratio to 1.78... fvck that noise. I've been wanting it, but holding out for the proper R rated cut. I know it's a Dimension Films movie... but Echo Bridge is out, Weinstein is bankrupt, and don't know if Anchor Bay still puts out TWC releases. Do Craven a solid Scream Factory!

Vestron is most likely to do it since Lionsgate has Dimension/Miramax

There will be no more titles for August. September's titles will be announced late May/early June, then October's in late June/early July, unless something changes (I don't see why it would, SDCC's slate should cover most of November and December, and into 2019)

Oh ok, yes i can see July's announcements at the comic con on July/December and 2019 releases.

And i can see more November releases being announced around late July/early August.

Since people are talking about Screamers, I'll join in. I'd love to have it on BD.

I actually hunted down the out of print widescreen DVD a while ago, and was glad to get it.

Maybe this month or next month or in July even at the comic con they might announce Screamers.

*fingers crosses for next announcement to be Cobra: CE, Demolition Man CE, Beetlejuice 30th anniversary edition CE, The Blob CE, Critters 1 and 2 CEs etc.

Great choices. The Critters series definitely needs to be on Blu.

Out of those Cobra Screamers & The Blob would be definite buys, Demolition Man would be a maybe.

Yes 1 and 2 can have CEs while 3 and 4 can be in a double feature as part 2 is a sequel worthy of a CE too you know.

Tremors CE with Child's Play 2 CE announced might be cool too, hell even End of Days CE or Rollerball CE (1975).

I think Cobra would make an excellent Collector's Edition on the Scream Factory line. The film borders on being a slasher film. In fact, I'm inclined to describe it as an Action Slasher

. Demolition Man is so goofy, though. If Shout wanted to put together a nice Steven Seagal box set I'd go for it. Some of his fun early stuff, like On Deadly Ground and Fire Down Below, never made it to HD.
