Same here, I think it was OOP when I found mine for $5, but if I'm not mistaken it got a repressing shortly after. But maybe not, going for $40 on Amazon, didn't check Ebay.

I think we'll get The Hand but I'd be very surprised if it was a CE.

Do they, like Criterion, have a general time of day that they announce things?

Yeah, I actually highly doubt the CE thing, too. Oliver Stone was apparently not terribly proud of the film after he got real big for "Platoon" and "JFK" and the like. And they couldn't likely track down Sir Caine all the way in England just for that, either. Plus, it's just not considered an 'A-List' title.

But, man, I REALLY want the film...

With Warner Archives doing Village of the Damned, maybe they can consider Scream do the sequel.

I'm also guessing next is I walked with a Zombie and The Mangler since those never had BDs.

Sorority House Massacre II would make me happiest. A double feature with Hard to die would be acceptable as well though I prefer individual discs.

YES, anything to get rid of my old DVD and to see extras and the original cut included.

Ditto on both and Alligator is no longer with Lionsgate but some independent company.

They're likely to re-release some others as well but I think their strategy with those will be to release them periodically throughout the year to stay active. There's no shortage of those so it's impossible to know what their next move will be but I'd say Tremors and Exorcist first.
I'm sure friday is when they start the first announcement then after independence day they'll start cranking out the announcements even a friday the 13th surprise and sometimes when there's a friday the 13th in a month they would give us the surprise.

I want those too except Valentine which i'm no huge fan of yet Cry-Wolf (unrated version mind you) is better than Valentine be sweet and i bet SF is secretly gonna do a deal with Sony for Candyman while internationally Universal does Candyman. Tremors i can see but Exorcist, we already have a perfect blu-ray with tons of extras and excellent PQ.

Still Warner Brothers (via New Line). It was reissued a couple years ago as a MOD DVD-R release.

This would be great. They obviously love Wes, same as they do Carpenter, so I can't think of a title that would be more at home than Deadly Friend. Starting to look like today's dry, though. Maybe tomorrow...

I think it's safe to say we'll most likely get all the twisted terror collection from scream on blu.

I got tired of waiting on this one and sprung for a German steelbook with a lenticular cover. Very nice. Still, it wouldn't surprise me to see them release this--probably not in a CE, though. Same with Xtro, since I just bought the Second Sight release.

I don't see why studios aren't rereleasing all these Stephen King properties, since the man is having a bit of a resurgence in popularity. Seems like it'd be a great time to capitalize on some Blu--rays; even the crappy ones would sell pretty good. I'm a sucker for most Stephen King adaptations.
