I don't think they do official press releases but they'll be at Comic-Con

Because Lionsgate owns it and they're not working with Scream/Shout anytime soon. The reason the Halloween box set happened was because it was a deal made before Anchor Bay (who owns the original movie) was bought by Lionsgate. Don't count on any future releases of the original to be done by Scream.

On the topic of ANOES. These were my rough thoughts as to what I was wanting from a Scream Factory release and why I continue to hold onto my excitement for a potential re-release...

-Individual films in individual cases with original poster art in a slip box.
-New 4k OCN transfer of the original film.
-New 2k Scans of the OCN (or as close as possible) for the sequels
-Original audio options in addition to the remixed audio on all films.
-Uncut edition of part 5
-Restored 3D for part 6
-Tv Editions of all films
-Original Theatrical Trailers/tv spots
-Horrors Hallowed Grounds special feature for each film (I can verify that at least the first 4 already have this completed as part of horror hound magazine.)
-Port over the existing behind the scenes special features and commentaries either on each film disc or on one bonus feature disc.
-Include the first episode of Freddie's Nightmares on the disc.
-Include some of the old 1-900-freddy commercials and various tv promos.
-Preferably add Freddy vs Jason to the set
-Preferably add the remake to the set
-Preferably include Never Sleep Again
-60-100 page booklet with pictures, essays, and film info ala Halloween collection/Last House on the Left/Hills have Eyes, etc.
-Reproduction (or original artwork) poster.
-Original Lithograph (website exclusive)

Even without FVJ, The Remake, and NSA, the set would still be phenomenal.
It boggles my mind how anyone would look at this...

And think that that release is good enough in the face of what could be an absolute amazing effort by Scream Factory.

Scream themselves released CE's of "Dawn of the Dead" and "Land of the Dead" ON Halloween last year, Oct. 31. I'm sure they shipped early, but Amazon people and so forth likely got them JUST in time. (Or late).

Now that would be amazing with scans of all the movies even FVJ which is part of the franchise since it's set years after Freddy's Dead. The horrible remake i can use as a drink coaster since it's that bad.

While I’m still grumbling a bit about the Creepshow announcement (simply because I already own the 88 Films release and purchased it fairly recently) that cover art is fantastic and the movie really does need a new scan, so... I guess I’ll have to buy it. Especially considering the fact that I have Arrow’s Creepshow 2 so the Scream Factory packaging will match it quite nicely on the shelf.

But still. Bring on Martin, The Hitcher, Deadly Friend and Dawn of the Dead, please.

Well House on Haunted Hill, Creepshow, Trick R Treat and Wasp Woman (hey it has it's fans among Corman fans) are the start of this as House never had a BD release when the sequel has which i'm puzzled why the sequel on BD but not the first one.

Creepshow had a bareboned BD and it is finally gets the treatment it finally deserves even with a new 2K or 4K scan and anyone hope there is horror's hollowed grounds?

I can’t even begin to imagine what they have saved to announce at CC. I had figured Creepshow would be a title they would announce there.

Some of us predicted Creepshow would be coming and it's every fans's dream come true.

The NOES sequels have some major black crush issues, with Dream Master and Dream Child being the worst offenders.

I would definitely double-dip on a NOES boxset, but honest to god, I am fine with the current set. The packaging isn't great, but that's never my high priority (and it does kinda match Paramount's Friday the 13th 8-film Blu-ray set). The transfers all look fine to my eyes, but I guess they could be improved. Commentaries on all films would be great, but Never Sleep Again (already on Blu-ray) pretty much covers the production of the sequels pretty extensively. The first film does have extensive bonus features. Horrors Hallowed Grounds would be cool. Trailers, TV spots, and radio spots would be cool (though definitely not essential, even though they're often some of my favorite features). To me, the remake does not belong in the set. I don't want it ever in my collection. The disc would be used as a drink coaster. The Heather Langkamp documentary would be very cool. She's an absolute treasure.

Freddy's Nightmares just needs a proper DVD release, and I guess it's possible for Shout! to put that out too through their TV division...

Does WB still own the Ringu movies? I would love to see that box set happen.

Yeah, I usually get their stuff on Amazon. I hadn't ordered from them direct for quite a long time until just recently. I pre-ordered "Scream for Help" because it took sooo long for some reason to have a pre-order up on Amazon. Now, I just pre-ordered "Creepshow".

Yeah I usually order from Bullmoose, but I need those Creepshow and Halloween II lithographs so I placed an order. Glad they have free shipping over $50 now.

That Halloween II litho is really nice, better than Halloween III's which is a film I enjoy more than Halloween II lol. Was gonna pre-order Halloween III too, but I think I'll just order from Bullmoose.

I'm really surprised by the $40 price for Creepshow though. Damn good price.
