If we can keep up these 'bells' guesses until the panel the next few hours should fly by

I never even got the BD's for both Gremlins. So no problem with me.

The panel is for Shout & Scream. Shout Select for Michael Keaton Jack Frost from Warner.

Seeing as how Warner has released this film a million different ways and the fact that almost every other release of the film is currently out of print, this appears to be very possible. It would certainly fit with the Jaw dropping announcement hype for a company like Shout Factory as it's quite the feather in the cap if they are allowed to release it. Since they are also already releasing part 2, with part 3 also from them, this seems to be a pretty solid guess.

I really don't know what more they could add to it to make me pick it up yet again considering I own the digibook, the anthology set, and a fan restoration on top of the dvd's, but that's a release I can't really blame them for wanting to put out if it's available to them.

Wonder if Scream Factory might release Android, the 1982 film starring Klaus Kinski. I believe it's a Corman title.

What's the best way to catch the announcements? Watching FB? Twitter? How are you folks going to be monitoring?

If they allow them to release The Exoricst then there is probably not much off the table to them. It would be nice to get the correct color timing finally if they can do it.

By the time the announcements make it to Facebook they are usually already being discussed here, so unless you are hitting refresh every 5 seconds to catch the latest announcement (it's ok, we've all been guilty of it at some point) I'd recommend just watching this thread. It'll go from very quiet to very busy in a hurry.

no offense, but I sure hope not!

I guess I'd probably bite (no pun intended) on a collector's edition of JAWS 2 provided it had interesting extras..... you can keep the other sequels.

as for the Child's Play films, my current boxed set is all I need....

The Jaws sequels may be bad but I would love to listen to commentary to see how they came up with the plot and all including the scrapped “Jaws 3 People 0” parody film. If bad movies like Exorcist 2 and TCM New Generation can get CE, I don’t see why Jaws 3 and 4 shouldn’t get CE as well.

I'd be the opposite. I can't stand the Jaws films and will argue until I am blue in the face that they are not horror films. I would jump at the chance to own collectors editions of Child's Play 2 and Child's Play 3 however.

With Arrow getting into the Universal catalog now though I feel like those films have a better chance of coming from them. Scream Factory is likely going to be busy enough with Corman/Sony/Warner releases that I'm not going to be surprised if we don't see/hear anything else for some time.

On a more serious side note, RIP to Jon Schnepp. All this talk of SDCC and knowing he couldn’t make it breaks my heart.

speaking of those, the original film would be one I wouldn't mind a double dip of... the original release is unimpressive in regards to PQ... a new remaster would be much welcomed!

and yes I'd buy the sequels too!

My thought is that it's in regards to Shout's new deluxe Saved by the Bell DVD collection: https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/Saved-by...on-DVD/160288/

I'm told that on their Facebook page they described it as:

Quote:
Featuring every episode of "Good Morning, Miss Bliss," "Saved By The Bell," "Saved By The Bell: The College Years," and both full length movies, this really is the complete collection! PLUS we have brand new bonus features to round out the set.
^ credit to member elvisranger for posting that.
