House IV
Man's Best Friend
Time Runner
Guyver: Dark Hero
Surviving the Game
Nature of the Beast
Lawnmower Man 2
House IV might be back with Cunningham. But I certainly wouldn't mind some of those listed titles appearing on Scream or Select, especially Surviving The Game.

The Mangler is one of those titles that I’ll try to talk myself out of buying for a short while before ultimately caving in.

I saw it years ago. Like most second or third tier early 1990s horror fare, it has a distinct “If only this movie had been made 10 years earlier by different filmmakers.” all-that-could-have-been feel to it, but it’s still fun.

Unlike the Jeepers Creepers films, I don't perceive Nature of the Beast to be a title that would sell well enough to offset the inevitable Salva backlash via social media.

The Mangler is a hell of a lot better than the sequel w/ Lance Henriksen. I haven't seen this movie since the 90s. I'm willing to give it another try so it'll be a purchase.

let's face the facts... you won't only cave in but you'll most likely pre-order it!

I'm sure we can expect the Guyver at some point. Don't know why they wouldn't release Surviving the Game, which is a top want for me. Hopefully by the end of the year. Not surprised about Mangler. I own a German steelbook, but I'm willing to consider this one based on the features and the supposed "unrated" cut.

Which is a real shame. I'd be perfectly content if they just quietly put it out with no extras, but that isn't really Scream's thing.

At a certain point, you have to separate art from artist. If not, you can’t like Chinatown, Pulp Fiction, Beetlejuice, Se7en, X-Men, etc.

EDIT: Also, in another Scream related matter, Return of the Living Dead 1-3. Brian Peck did some twisted stuff.

A steam press machine that is out for blood & by the end becomes a mechanical monster. Was the Mangler a practical effect/puppetry work or 1990's cgi? I remember liking it back in the day but the effects probably have that cartoonish look to them now where they haven't aged well over the 20 something years since the movie was originally released.

Considering that House Boxset is OOP could Scream get a hold of the rights?

The box set is oop but the individual films for parts 1 and 2 are available from Arrow. Scream Factory already released the horror show (House part 3) years ago so that would just leave part 4. Could Scream Factory release it alone? Sure. Will they? who knows. A Box set would be very unlikely though as Scream Factory would have to license parts 1 & 2 from Arrow and that wouldn't make much sense right now.

I recently watched my copy of House IV and IMO it didn't hold up as well. If Shout picks it up they'll probably move more copies if they do a double feature with Horror Show. They can do an unrated version next go round.

I actually got 3 and 4 a few months ago from overseas and I was honestly underwhelmed by both of them. I've kinda regretting the import pricing I paid, but at least my OCD is happy the collection is completed.

Hey, I have all of the House releases from ARROW and I just wanted to let you know that parts 3 & 4 work on Region A Blu-ray players.

The Arrow releases are fantastic !

House 4 is great, don’t understand why people don’t like it. It’s not as silly as House 2 and it has that memorable pizza scene.
