Looks like it was Walmart again. I'd say jump on this before it gets changed tomorrow morning.

Wal-mart's search function is so wonky... I went looking for Valentine earlier after this was posted and didn't find it, yet... there it is.

Looks like they're responsible for the sub $100 Universal monster set as well

Does SF have any connections to Touchstone? I would love for them to get the rights for The Village. It's one of my favorite films and it's the only M. Night movie that hasn't made its way onto BD yet.

This and What Lies Beneath would be a dream come true. I can imagine a beautiful remaster with lots of new features.

Isn't Touchstone a Disney property?
If so I don't think that will happen anytime soon

Yup, Touchstone is owned by Disney, so I'll probably never get Captain Ron or Six Days, Seven Nights on Blu-ray. And they desperately need to be saved from their outdated non-Anamorphic DVDs.

Disney has a general rule that they won't license titles out that were released on DVD or prior blu on one of their own labels, but there seems to be a little bit of flexibility on that.

Yeah but more times than not they suck, and only times they're good is because sale glitches or other things.

The sad part is, $24.99 is what the actual MSRP should be. I'll place an order but I'll likely end up cancelling it before it ships. I think $25 is still too much in this case.

I ordered Valentine at that price as well. Will be interesting to see if it gets readjusted to $35. If it is a mistake somehow, wish someone would do the same for Urban Legend.

Urban Legend probably won’t go down for awhile because they have the non collector’s edition sequel for $24 and they won’t price the two the same. I also can’t see Scream dropping these new reg titles to $16-18ish for awhile with their new pricing.

I have to agree. While this is a nostalgic movie for me growing up in the 90s, it's going to be hard to pull the trigger at $26.xx with tax. However, they did such an amazing job with the 'Urban Legend' release, I've locked in a copy and I'll decide later once the special features are announced if I'm going to keep it or not.

Unrelated to 'Valentine,' but did anyone else notice that Shout! Factory has lowered their prices on their website within the last 24 hours? Nothing to write home about, but I did notice that "Munchies/Munchie Strikes Back," "Poison Ivy Collection" and "Valentine" are all about a dollar cheaper than when I sent looking Friday evening... Maybe they're slowly getting the hint?

How's Valentine as a movie? Fun enough? I would like to see but don't know if I want to spend that much.

It's not amazing or anything but, It's definitely a fun watch & I've been a fan since it came out. Plus, Marley Shelton . Even as a fan I don't think I'll pay full price for this, if anything hopefully my local FYE will carry it like they do most the SF CE's & I'll be able to get rid of some doubles and stuff I dnt watch anymore to knock the price down like I've been doing when it's a release I want from them.
