Ugh...Shout Factory QC at it again...

Not only did I get one of the Trick r Treat copies with scratches on the inside ring (it played fine), my REC 2 disc in the Collection is scratched on the playable side. It too plays ok, but still...

The kicker is that in my shipping email, my copy of Candyman should have shipped with these titles and it is NOT IN THE BOX!!!

I reached out to customer service days ago and wrote on their fb wall and have not heard back. Their support on fb said to email their usual channel for order support, but I had already done that.

So frustrating.

Maybe if you say Candyman enough times in front of the mirror it will appear?

Okay, but what about Maniac and Zombie 4K restorations?

ITMOM looks great, but there are MANY contenders for the best and I hadn't even considered Madness as one of the them

Maybe that's just me though

Oh snap! The Brain is coming? Finally? I love this film and love the design work on the creature. I'll pay for Shout! higher prices for this one!

Officially nothing has been announced and the listing on Amazon is meaningless....

Unofficially it's probably due in the next month or two announcement slates.

One of the VS reps had speculated that Shout! might have The Brain and others:

My guess is that shout somehow snuck in and grabbed them as they recently used The Brain, which was also in their library, on a recent Mystery Science Theatre episode. If this is the case (which I’m just guessing on), maybe Scorpion can get some of them. It would be a shame if they were left to languish in MST3K hell.
It wouldn't, at all, surprise that this was just another premature listing.

Is it only a matter of time till Child’s Play 2&3 come to Scream???? Isn’t it pretty much confirmed even though nothing has been said about it? It just seems like a prime Scream Factory Collectors Edition. No Special Features available on the current Blu Ray and both have Alternate TV cuts.....

Just announce it Scream

I think people have been operating under the assumption that it's just "a matter of time" ever since the line was launched... over six years ago.

I'm sure they will announce it next year to cash in on the new Child's Play remake

Agreed. I still think Child's Play is a franchise that Universal is not going to give up. The only reason they got the first film was because it's still held by MGM. Despite the fact they have license agreement with Universal, it's still a pretty profitable property for them.

MGM gives SF whatever they want, & they take it no matter what it looks like. Universal already put out 2-5 in single disc editions this past August.....Unless you wanna pay $34.99 for whatever bonus feats. they come up with......don't give them anymore incentive to put out already released films on bluray, esp. ones that have a normal release & a boxset release. What?? is an SF 4k IP going to be an upgrade? (if that's what they even do) All the more power to you ppl, I'll wait for a UHD....possibly one that never comes.....I'm fine with my set from 2013 & the cult of chucky blu.

Hope they release the Child’s Play sequels just to see the haters lose their shit lol. If they are Remastered and new bonus features like the original I’ll buy them.

I’m happy with the 6 disc set that Universal released & single Cult of Chucky. Seriously hope they release Nightmare of Elm Street though.

I am also quite content with the current Chucky boxset. I don't need an overpriced SF release just for some new extras. Extras schmextras.
