I do wish if anyone like SF got their hands on it they could do freddy's nightmares. That I'd love to see.

Not going to lie... I'm pretty shocked we didn't get some kind of announcement today. Especially considering that they started announcing things early by starting last Friday. It makes me wonder if whatever they had planned for today has run into some kind of legal snag ala TCM:TNG or one of the other previous releases that ran into issues with obtaining scans or something like that.

Also, this is my 10,000th post.

That's a big milestone, congrats man !

I was also pretty surprised that we didn't get another announcement today, you think that they are done for May ?

2019 has been pretty good so far, I wonder what titles will be announced at Comic-Con. I know Vice Squad is coming and it looks we might even get Fade to Black.

I'm really hoping that we get Collector's Editions of Gremlins 1 & 2, Child's Play 2,3 and of course a proper Nightmare on Elmstreet Collectors box set.

I'm sure this has been asked before many times but what is the deal with Fright Night II, does Sony own this and what are the chances Scream Factory would be able to get the license ?

I finally broke down and bought the Nightmare collection on blu-ray this week so a new set should be announced anytime now.

I still kept the old DVD set since it looks cool and has original artwork, but would love to ditch that completely if SF go all out for a new boxset.

The first "Gremlins" is getting an UHD later this year so that's out. "Fright Night 2" has a long, complicated, legal matter in the US.

Because I'd like to see Collectors Editions of these films, the Child's Play 2 & 3 releases are barebones and the Nightmare films deserve to be on separate discs and in cases with the original artwork and not in a s.h.i.t.t.y. multipack with a photoshopped cover.

We all have different wants, I'm sure I would probably yawn at some of the titles that you are hoping for.

Insert every wtf gif ever made. Part 2 is a classic for very unique reasons and part 3 is one of the greatest horror sequels ever made

I'm not going to lie... I have very, VERY high hopes that a new Nightmare set is announced at Comic-con this year for a September/October release. It's the kind of announcement that they like to do at Comic-Con (big franchise, re-release of a film that already has a blu ray, etc). I'm normally the dream crusher when it comes to Comic con hopes and wishes posted in this thread, but I'm going all in this year on my hope/belief that this set will happen.

With that aside I also continue to hold out hope for a Child's Play 2 and 3 Collectors editions announcement. With the wealth of material available for those films and the fact that they've never been treated right I feel like that franchise and those films deserve better than what they currently have.

Scream Factory is cranking out upwards of what... like 8 films a month these days? Re-releasing a Nightmare set or 2 Child's Play Collectors editions is a drop in the bucket compared to everything else they've put out and considering we've sat through The Strangers, The Green Inferno, and numerous other questionable re-releases the Nightmare/Child's Play releases should be painfully obvious moneymakers and an easy choice if they are available.

If they just do the 1st three Nightmares I would be happy, don’t need the other ones.

No reason to do anything but the whole series. Just tell yourself its financing the unreleased movie you want.

Well said, I couldn't agree more ! A Nightmare on Elm Street Box set would be most welcomed, I want this series to get the treatment it deserves.

I'm honestly surprised Jason Goes to Hell has come from them yet. Maybe they are waiting for Halloween? Either way, this seemed like a shoe in for them.

Nice, getting that. I’m assuming it’s a Tom Atkins figure.
