A lot of the OOP titles seem to still be in stock at Play-Asia. I've used them once and no issues, but I obviously can't guarantee anything. Little higher than sale prices, though.

Play-Asia's site says they have an expect stock arrival for Carrie & The Rage: Carrie II within the next 15 days apparently. Not sure how accurate it is, but it's interesting because the customer service rep from Blowitouttahere told me they'd post more copies when it was back in stock (I just kinda rolled my eyes as I accepted the refund tbh).

Hopefully that's a good sign?

Decided to cave and get Trick R Treat & Texas Chainsaw: The Next Generation at the sale prices. Threw Superstition into the order to get free shipping, which is the only blind buy of the lot.

I got my copy of Swamp Thing in today as well and can confirm that the coverart is indeed very blurry. Haven't checked the disc yet.

I have seen comments of the Swamp Thing cover for a few days now. I have one of the original releases when it came out. The cover is clear, no fuzz whatsoever. It must have been a different printer that did the repress from the Made in Mexico release, as mine never had that Mexico stamp on it.

Yep from what I gather that is what must have happened. Looks like someone at the planet didn't use the correct format. I'll just pretend it is a limited edition.

Please inform if Trick R Treat is scratch free now. I want to buy it, but I do not want the scratched blu, that many people received.

I'm still pissed off I paid extra to insure the free poster, and got a copy that looked like it was used as the puck in a game of street hockey. And I didn't bother at the time to request a replacement because everyone who did reported getting copies that looked even WORSE.

Venting about my recent orders again, but...

I checked my order status on Carrie / The Rage: Carrie II on Barnes and Noble's markeplace from MovieMars and it says my order has shipped. But I never got an email notification from either party and there's no tracking number. I really hope this isn't some digital f*ckery, because I can't deal with my emotions being played with like this. lol

I ordered from Movie Mars too via amazon. Still pending and not much progress yet but still says will ship by the 24th. We'll see. I'll be bummed if it's cancelled. Good luck!

Just checked my eBay purchase history, I ordered Sleepaway 2 & 3 with their slipcovers on September 27th. 2 was $64 CAD and 3 was $50 CAD. I was very hesistant to but these because of their lack of uncut footage but I ultimately caved for the great prices. The original movie is a classic, but the following sequels with Pamela Springsteen are an absolute delight. She's snarky like Freddy Krueger and doesn't rely on unrealism.

Movie Mars sucks. It'll probably take a week to ship and a week or two to get to you. I refuse to buy anything from them unless I have to.

Luckily I had almost all of the ones I wanted from the SF OOP list with the exception of The Rage. Only reason I kept putting it off is cause I really didn't like the TV movie version of Carrie that came with it. Ill probably just grab the 88 Films release sometime when I can. As I said before though from now on im not waiting more then a year after release to grab any SF titles I want. The ones I really want will of course still be day 1 buys.

The Rage: Carrie 2 from 88 Films, comes with a really nice slip. If you're lucky enough to get one. I just got my copy in yesterday. Bought it used in excellent condition, with slip from eBay. Paid $19.99 including shipping. That's about what I would have paid new from Amazon.com.uk. But, this way I knew I was getting a slip, and it's a beauty. The slip has a velvety feel too it, like Children Of The Corn, or Weird Science, from Arrow.

Yea I saw the slip. I saw a new one on eBay for its a bit over $40 with shipping & tax. If I don't see a cheaper one when im ready to order ill get it from Amazon UK & hope for a slip.

There's still a strong possibility, that you could get a slip from Amazon.com.uk. I don't exactly think it was a huge seller. So, your chances are probably pretty good.
