Would Scream release "War Of The Worlds" in 4K Ultra Hd blu ray, seeing as you can stream it in 4k?

Says to me this is what the newer restoration would have been for.

It's possible now that Shout Factory recently announced their first 4K UHD of a major motion picture The Deer Hunter, unless something in their deal prohibits it.

What are the chances of Fear Dot Com coming from Scream? It hasn’t had a BR yet and seems prime for a re-release.

With the recent release of My Bloody Valentine, I keep wishing that they will release He Knows You're Alone. It's one of the last of the early 80's slashers that hasn't been on blu yet.

If they were to release any of these, I would buy them.

Fright Night (1985) or Fright Night (2011)? because Sony already released Fright Night (1985) on Blu awhile ago and it's pretty jam-packed with extras including the doc You're So Cool, Brewster! The Story of Fright Night (2016)!
I also think Sony will re-release The Grudge 1/2 on Blu pretty soon since the 2020 version is coming out soon....Is Gothika with Sony? I thought that was a WB film! I think the rest has a good chance of coming to SF in the near future hopefully.......

The 2005 version of The Fog was one of the worst films ever. I bought it on DVD and for the only time, I threw it away.

I don't see a few of those happening. Fright Night has had three different releases on Blu-Ray in the US (along with a fourth one from the UK, which was also region free), with the most recent one having a large amount of extras. Night of the Living Dead also falls in that category, with both the Twilight Time release and Sony's re-release. Now I know prior releases aren't automatically a deal-breaker (I can almost guarantee that Shout/Scream would license Christine if Sony offered it), but I feel those titles may be close to being tapped out on Blu-Ray.

Needful Things also got a release from Kino (although I'm sure if the license lapses, Shout would be willing to pick it up), and Mill Creek has Happy Birthday To Me.

Night of the Living Dead (91) and Happy Birthday to me - although released before - are both classics that had no or only a few vintage extras. I would love to see loaded collector's editions of those two.

Actually I would love to see all the titles from the list :-)

I've honestly been expecting an announcement for these films (the first two) ever since 'Urban Legends' and 'Valentine' were announced...

I love I Know What You Did Last Summer - it's the perfect post-modern slasher film but I don't know if I'd double dip just for extras and a slipcover. Sony's BD is nicely serviceable. Maybe if Scream did a trilogy set since I don't own the 3rd film

The 3rd film is just awful & has no connection to the other 2. I’d be happy with just a SF if 1 & 2.

Just like My Bloody Valentine, the biggest draw would be an available release for people who missed out on the now-OOP Sony copy.

I also think there is a lot of opportunity for Shout! to get a lot of interviews with the crew (and maybe even some of the cast). If memory serves the DVD and original blu-ray are pretty light on extras (except the commentary)...
