True, but there were 5 between April and May, 6 if you count Shatter.

Unless they have a Warner or Fox Hammer title, or Shadow of the Cat, I'd be content with 1 Hammer title for June, probably another Universal CE (Brides of Dracula, Phantom of the Opera or Kiss of the Vampire). I'd say one of these is certain for June in any case, along with another Arkoff title (despite the delay to The Spider), probably Day the World Ended (while dated May on Amazon, it still hasn't been officially announced by Scream). Might be we see the fifth (and final?) Universal Classic Horror Collection as well.

Would love to see new-to-Blu Warner and Paramount titles (even Sony, like Dead Birds), and while the Universal catalogue offers slim pickings now, I'm still hopeful that we might see The Dark Secret of Harvest Home (Kino say it was unavailable, suggesting another label may have it; Scream have already released a couple of Universal TV movies, and recently mentioned The Dark Secret of Harvest Home as a credit for an actress in Bug, which I thought was interesting).

I hope they have another deal with Warner. Alone in the Dark and Deadly Friend are two huge ones I'm looking for. Paramount has so many titles and now that Danger Diabolik is coming from Scream, that opens the doors to what kind of titles they could release from Paramount. Would really want Orca, The Parallax View, the Hunted, Tales from the Darkside, Black Sunday, the Dead Zone and so many more. Hopefully we get one of these next week.

I haven't ordered directly from Scream in quite some time, but just wondering - do they still ship preorders 2 weeks earlier than the release date? I seem to recall that being a thing, but I haven't heard mention of it lately.

They don't guarantee 2 week early shipping anymore.

They don't ship 2 weeks early anymore but they still ship earlier than the street date in many cases. Sometimes they'll ship something very early if it's in stock. I had my copy of Let's Scare Jessica To Death in-hand by the second week of January. I love getting stuff early and consider it a great perk.

Not sure if this has been mentioned already or not, but The Spider has been delayed until June 23, 2020. It was originally scheduled for April 21, 2020.

I got Prophecy (1979) on Blu-ray yesterday and watched it. I looked really good. Haven't seen it in decades. Old-fashioned horror movies. Good times.

There have been plenty of occassions where announcements weren't made until 4pm/5pm. I wouldn't rule out the day just yet.

So just won an auction for THE PROPHECY (along with Arrow’s THE FIFTH CORD) from, I believe, filmmaker Sean Baker (TANGERINE, FLORIDA PROJECT). That’s really all there is to the story. I just thought it was very random and wanted to share. I’ll see myself out.

Yeah, like Tales from the Dark side - The Movie, The Dead Zone and (if they have it) War of the Worlds. If WOTW isn't announced next week, it's time to import!
