So the only way we'll be able to enjoy the 3D version of this is if we have a 3D tv?

So you're telling me I'm going to need to own a "television" to enjoy these "blurays?"

Yep, I have moved on to 4k but still have a BenQ 1080p 3d projector for the occasion I want to go big or watch 3d, well worth it and not very expensive, PQ is fantastic, projector 3d is some of the best.

The long rumored Renny Harlin workprint version of Nightmare 4 would probably be impossible, but that's probably the holy grail of stuff regarding that particular movie.

Also part 5 Unrated/VHS cut.

Yeah, I never had a 3D TV but I love breaking out my projector for special occasions. Finally seeing Part 3 in 3D will likely be the first thing I do when the new set arrives.

I just ordered the set from SF. I take it it'll be awhile before I get a confirmation email?

For the 16 people who own a 3D TV, this should be worth the price alone

I've very excited for the 3D. But I'll hang onto my DVD copy of Part 3 for the "Godforbid chance" my 3D takes a crap.

This is actually on the cheaper end of things. I have an older model Optoma that works great and has been going strong for several years now. You can even find some better prices on eBay if you’re willing to go refurbished, which I did and haven’t had any issues.

Yes. Or the PlayStation VR headset, I read that plays 3D.

Luckily I still have my 4K 3D OLED. Glad I didn’t sell it.

It is. Just last weekend I watched Dredd in 3D again on it and I've been planning what sort of projector to purchase for when I finally get started on the theater room. 3D has always been an important must have selling point for me and if 4k projectors drop the feature I'll be looking into some sort of dual projector setup just to ensure I continue to enjoy it.

I didn't initially receive a confirmation email. I saw the charge on my bank statement though. I emailed Shout to double-check that they got my order and got an confirmation back a few hours later.

I also got mine within just a minute or two, and I ordered at least a few hours after it had been announced.

Ugh...me too. And I know nothing about them. Are most "regular" projectors 3D capable? Is a special screen recommended, or will a wall suffice, even if it's not white (mine would be light gray so at least it's close)?

For sure, they secured that and even with the implosion of the 3d market that is still a holy Grail title, I've seen it once on the big screen in SF in 3d, old battered print though, can't wait to check it out.

A white wall even with the eggshell stucco still looks damn good and it's easy to configure , you just point the projector at the wall, with the screen it gets trickier getting everything to line up perfectly.
