I know lack of announcements suck. It'll all be fine. Sometimes transparency is nice, although we don't as fans need to know every little thing BTS at a company.

Yep, still reflecting Order taken. I always make sure to check the website before posting as I know shipping notices on occasion get messed up.

I finally got a shipping confirmation for my October 9th sale order last Thursday. Tracking shows it should arrive tomorrow, November 10th. So just a day over a month from order to delivery. Not too bad I guess considering the pandemic.

I’m still waiting on my October 9th order of 13 titles to ship, still processing for the past few weeks now. I’ve ordered plenty from them in the past but this will likely be my last order from them directly.

Yeah, unless there's some sort of free poster perk, I'm saving my SF purchases for other vendors from now on.

Ah the collector mentality...many have titles sitting on the shelf unwatched and in some cases still sealed but want more and more. I get it, I used to do that. Relax, if there is a problem with Scream/Shout some other label will get those titles. If not they will straighten it out eventually. Watch something you havent watched, look at other labels, or just chill and watch Netflix or something.

For those waiting on old orders I get that too and hopefully will be sorted out soon. Maybe smaller orders would help? Shouts distribution dept has never been smoorh.

Maybe the decision was made late to start doing 4k's going forward, and that's slowed down the supply chain a bit?

I’m from Canada so it’s harder to get these titles on a regular basis at DECENT prices, so I usually take advantage of sales and buy lots of titles. I’ve got at least 12 posters that they’ve released, but I guess I’m starting to become sour at how they handle things on their end. Fun being a Horror collector eh? Haha

I'm sure Shout is doing fine. Their online streaming event this weekend - "Patton Oswalt's Six Pack" was a blast. I'd never seen Eat My Dust! or Shriek of the Mutilated. I'd definitey buy a blu release of Shriek.

I just got an email saying my order is shipping. Can't beat almost an entire month turnaround for this as I ordered on the 11th.

I'm getting nervous. My October 13th order hasn't shipped, and on Friday I sent an email asking to change my shipping address (cause I'm moving at the end of the month) and they haven't been replied yet (it was the weekend though). I shouldn't be surprised if they ship right before they answer the email. I've already had an Amazon order ship that won't arrive until right before moving day without having the chance to change the shipping address. If Shout delivers shortly after they ship I shouldn't worry.

I’m not buying the My Bloody Valentine steelbook, since it’s the same Blu-ray disc that I already own.

I’m all in for Sputnik, though. I’ll batch order it with a future Scream purchase later on.

I was going to put SPUTNIK on last night, but Hulu isn't dropping it til Nov. 13th so it'll have to wait til another day.

I don't understand all this talk about Scream going under... they are fresh off the heels of what was probably their biggest release ever. I'm sure they have plenty of stuff coming up too.

It's what many would call the last "hurrah". November-February it's been pretty much slim pickens for the most part. What's odd is if they DO still have a lot of titles to release, you would figure they would try to get up the excitement levels. Hell, their Shout Select line alone should be chugging out titles, but it's not.

Either way, something is probably up. Maybe some internal issues and all of this could be temporary, or there is something bigger happening and it's not looking good.

I'm getting the end of Twilight Time vibes here.

You may be right, but I'm not getting those vibes. It feels like every time a company has a slow couple months people immediately assume they are done. I remember folks where saying the same about Arrow a year ago and in my opinion they've had a pretty good year.

I get what you are saying though, hopefully it's not the case.

It's because the sky is falling so we should all probably panic. They just released one of the biggest holy-grail-franchise collections in their history in the middle of a pandemic and are following it up with a slow month or two, so they're probably done for.

Love the cover art of MY BLOODY VALENTINE but gonna pass this time. It's one thing to expect fans to double dip on titles that were released 6 to 8 years ago (Motel Hell, Piranha, etc) and offer improved transfers....

but to expect people to do it for a title that came out the same year with the same transfer.... no.
