Yeah, I think their first release was the only time they released a BD-R. (Could be wrong) I never bought it for that reason. Either way, once the new release comes out (which should be any second now) I'll pick that one up.

I think they said they were testing the waters with BD-R, and the response was very negative so they didn't continue in that direction. These online-exclusive limited-to-1000 releases started off as a similar experiment and, despite some negativity, they have sold out fairly quickly, so that was a more successful experiment.

There are enough officially-pressed discs out there to take my money without my needing to buy what is, essentially, bootlegs.

I'd love to own a high definition presentation of Real Genius, but no way I'm shelling out for the Sony BD-R.

I have had an account with them since the inception of Warner Archive (2009?) and tried to log in yesterday but just got an error that said my email was not found. I actually just wanted to find my order history but noticed there were no movies listed on their site. I did preorder one of the new BD releases on Amazon last week though so hopefully there will be more to come. I certainly won't complain about Shout Factory licensing their titles like Chamber of Horrors or He Knows You're Alone.

I'm all over both these Corman exclusives when they are made available. While most are in for the Big Bad Mama DF, I'm looking forward to the Crazy Mama/Lady in Red DF...

Yeah, Lady in Red is my favorite out of the four. Extra violent with a bad guy role for Christopher Lloyd.

My God, Shout/Scream certainly caught up after the COVID delays.

I just realized that I have over 500 dollars worth of pre-orders with them from now through July, and now they've announced these two surprise double features.

They are on a roll!

If Sony released any of the extremely low interest titles I wanted bad enough, I would absolutely shell out for a BD-R.

And why not, since I have so much invested in Warner BD's?-
For those unaware of the history- Warner is a studio that has one of, if not THE, worst track records for long term integrity of their optical media- starting with their Laserdiscs from the '80's-90's thru DVDs and HD DVDs, and now BDs.
And all those are pressed, not burned.

Man, I am loving them right now, that's for sure!

I usually do, they just had a slow patch once COVID hit. They had a ton of great stuff last year, though. But from like September till March, I literally only bought one Shout title, which was "Twins", back in November. I just got that "Big Bust Out" B-movie, cause, what the hell. But starting this coming week, it is ON, again.
