Oh, I'd definitely be up for both. I liked MotAS quite a bit. UtSL is one of my favorite movies from the last few years though. I've considered going region-free for it (and many others), but just haven't quite bit yet. I agree a new blu is unlikely though, knowing Lionsgate. Fingers crossed for a 4k, I suppose!

What about the possibility of a Howling Box set? I have no idea about rights but at one point Scream Factory did put out the first 3.

I would cry tears of joy if they announced an Elm Street set as beautiful as the F13 set; specifically 4K scans from the OCN!

But I feel IKWYDLS and Final Destination seem possible, assuming the rights are theirs for the taking.

Yeah, this eco case thing isn't going to work. My copy of He Knows You're Alone arrived with an indent on the wrap shaped like the cutout. Thankfully there was no perm damage but seeing as how Shout uses envelopes to mail these, I can definitely see potential for damage. There are folks out there who are crazy OCD about this and will raise heck about it.

With all these TV cuts releasing on BD (Superman/fast times ARH/King Kong) I wish SF can acquire the tv cut of Killer Klowns. I have a vhs tape as it has a lot of extended scenes that aren’t on any home video release. If company’s have access to these cuts they should give fans the option as it has more/extended footage.

Hopefully Shout! will do us all a favor and release a Carnosaur Trilogy!

Even if August is a light month for SF doesn't mean whatever they release won't be awesome! Who knows maybe it'll just be I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) / I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998) we won't know until the end of the month.

I hope will get Collector Editions of House of Dark Shadows (1970) / Night of Dark Shadows (1971) with the Directors Cut of NODS this fall or next year!!!!

If they've outright stated that it's a light month there won't be any collectors editions and the odds are pretty good that it will in fact just be an IFC title or two and that's it. At best we are looking at an IFC title and maybe one non-collectors edition. Army of Darkness 4k would be a good fit here but I'm willing to bet that that is being saved for October and whatever BIG announcements they have planned will come in September. I'm hoping for a Nightmare on Elm Street set myself.

Another Franchise they could release is Scream.

Scream would be great. If anything though, I wouldn't be surprised if these are released by Paramount themselves once we get close to Scream 5.

Not a fan of the Scream series in a least so that would be a big bummer for me. Box sets aside surely Dr. Giggles is coming later this year along with the perpetually anticipated Deadly Friend and Feardotcom.

I wonder what happened with Scream trying to get the first three Blind Dead films? Synapse obviously got the first 1, but wonder what happened with 2 and 3.

Different licensor(s), if I'm not mistaken.

I won't go on about Freddy's Nightmares, but I will make a comment on the Elm Street films. I would like to revisit the sequels (I went to a one-off screening at a local cinema of the original, back before you-know-what started over twelve months ago). I just wonder, if Shout did announce a set, will they be able to create new (uncut) restored masters of the films, with additional newly created extras, bearing in mind that the Warner Brothers-owned Friday the 13th films in the Friday the 13th set released in October last year didn't have any new extras (apparently)?

Yeah, I believe that's the case with all four. Scream did say they were going to try and get all of them, but since they didn't get the first one, I'm not sure if they gave up on the 2nd and 3rd.
