So should Laurie get distance between the kids and Micheal, leaving them alone but safe from Micheal. Like you're suggesting on the first sentence?

Or should she be staying by the kids at all times because she doesn't know if there's multiple killers or not? Like you're suggesting in the second sentence?

She can't do both.

You're over thinking it and trying way too hard to poke holes in a low budget movie that just ended up being way better than it should have been. Laurie Strode is a bit of a boring character, but she's not a bad person.

I don't care if you just don't like the movie. I appreciate it, but it's not at all my go-to Halloween franchise movie if I'm only watching one. What you're pointing out here and how Micheal being his sisters killer would have been ignored by his parents

are very odd reasons to dislike it though.

There are two different decisions and points here.

1) Michael is chasing after her. She leads Michael to the house where poor and defenseless Tommy and Lindsey are. She should have led him away from the house. Look to nature and when a predator is near a nest, the mother bird tries to lead the predator away.

2) After she thinks she killed Michael, there is no reason for her to stay and to have the kids go alone. She should have taken the kids, and in the case Michael followed, she could have fought and bought them time, as well as if there were multiples, she could have tried to protect them.

And actually, Halloween is one of my favorite movies, but even after several dozen viewings, a new thought may occur to you, such as would the parents turn a child in, or would they try and protect them. Most parents actually do

EDIT: I was wrong in thinking it was the first week of October. December titles leaked on 9/29. We may very well see something this week yet.

Just as well. I don't have any $$ in the budget for movies until next week. I wish Shout had an actual release schedule and not spring these at random.

It's a general attitude with similar posts from him. If he misses out it's not Shout's fault.

I've been on the receiving end of it as well recently from other posters (or should I say 'trolls'?), I haven't forgotten about it, and it's getting to the point of 'enough is enough'. You get it where some don't like others being happy and enjoying things.

I was really surprised to receive a shipping notice email from Shout yesterday, from the purchase I made over the weekend.

Based on previous experiences with Shout sales I wasn't expecting to receive my order until around Thanksgiving, but they shipped it with Priority Mail and it should be delivered by Friday.

Maybe things are turning around...
