I hope we see a Body Snatchers 93 UHD down the road as i can't see Warner doing it.

Would have liked to have seen the teaser one sheet used for the the reverse of Cat People,



but I won't complain. It's taken long enough to get this film remasted and on to disc that I'm not gonna let any extra anything spoil the party.

Botched releases like the Dog Soldiers blu is probably an exception. A lot of it is about feeding the addiction at this point. Is a 4k of The Funhouse really needed? Eh.

The existing masters for The Funhouse and Cat People are probably close to 20 years old and were probably created from an IP. Barring any anomalies in the remastering process, a new 4K master, presumably from the OCN, should be a fairly substantial upgrade.

I hope Return of the Living Dead, My Bloody Valentine and Friday the 13th 1-4 are on Scream's plan for 4k UHD releases this year. Must have for me.

Ya I really am holding out hope for a ROTLD 4k that'd be amazing! I don't wanna spend the money for the OOP blu now if there's any chance this could happen sometime in the next year or 2. My Bloody Valentine and Fri the 13th I'd be kinda pissed since I just bought those in the past couple years

For me it just doesn't rank highly on the priority list.

It's not like the Man with No Name movies where the yellow tint is so offensive that the it makes the movies impossible to watch, but The Funhouse is also not Return off The Living Dead or The Thing... It doesn't have a botched release either...Nor is it a title that is hard to get I don't think.

It's all a matter of opinion... And it might be a tad different if there were not so many other titles to get that I don't have. We all have to prioritize I guess.

Apologies if it’s been mention, but another Universal title SF gave a special edition Blu-ray treatment is Death Becomes Her. Now I’d love to see a 4K upgrade of that one as well. And since it’s an anniversary year…

Given some of the behind the scenes drama that was hinted at in getting that title released I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that It's unlikely it will ever have another physical release, let alone a UHD.

In the race to upgrade everything to 4k, I hope that Scream Factory keeps in mind that there are a number of films that they haven't released that would make for excellent 4k additions to the Scream Factory lineup. (Night of the Living Dead '90 comes to mind)

In for Cat People and have to think about Dog Soldiers.

I don't have to get every 4K that comes out but I gotta admit there is a lot on BarnDoor's Universal list that I would upgrade. For a format that's supposed to be dying this has turned out to be one of my favorite years as a collector.
