Alligator and RotLD were my only 4k purchases from Shout this year. I think my favorite release was Watchers 2 and really enjoyed Communion as well. The price on the new Halloween set is still extremely off putting. Another basic year from Shout in terms of my tastes. The October sale lifted my spirits pretty good though, now I've crossed off almost every SF title ive had on my wishlist.

Movies Unlimited ran a sale during the month of August. I grabbed the set for less than $84 shipped. Sometimes it pays to be active on message forums

But Scream did say that 2023 is going to have newer titles so I'm holding out hope for that.

$15? Wow. I got it during the sale, but it was like $21 or $23 bucks. Wonder what happened there.

Looks like King Kong Lives is getting a release in the Land Down Under, so hopefully that means something is cooking over here as well. Seems like Shout would go for that one.

They got the previous one so why the hell not? I could do with more Kong on blu.

Yeah, it's pretty campy, but it's fun and a bit violent if I remember correctly. It seems like a title Shout would release.

Not sure what sale the above user was discussing but I snagged Man's Best Friend as part of the Love is in the Scare sale in February 2020 for around $15. It's likely that at that particular sale they had a lot more copies on hand than they did this go round and wanted to move more units hence the difference in pricing.

Pretty good price. It's one I've been waiting to go in price for awhile, and then I saw it's not even on Amazon and said screw it, even if it's still above 20 bucks.

I don't know what the hell happened over at Diabolik. They use to ship a day or two after ordering. Now i'm waiting up to a week or more for in stock items to ship. I've been placing a lot more of my orders with Grindhouse Video and Orbit, they both ship same day or day after.
