I wanted The Evil that Men Do but Shout isn't offering it to Canada. I guess another distributor must have rights here. I'll need to research that.

Anyone knows who has the US rights for Flanagan's Before I Wake? Is it just Netflix? I spotted a random listing for the Canadian BD at Bullmoose that was with newer pages, so I think a US release could be coming out, but not sure who it would be from if it is.

Interesting. So it's looking like someone else might have a deal with Netflix? If Shout were able to make it happen, that would be epic news.

I have no idea. I'm hoping it means a new release, but it's too early to tell. I actually mentioned many years ago that a Mike Flanagan film set from Scream Factory would be amazing. Films like Before I Wake, Hush, Absentia, etc..

Wow, my "The Evil That Men Do" and "R Xmas" are already out for delivery, today!

That was fast!

I also already recieved my "Sonny Chiba Set", and "Company of Wolves" some time ago.

The one stubborn holdout has been "A Kind of Loving". I got a shipping notice way back on the 15th, but actual postal tracking shows it wasn't actually picked up until the 22nd, and now has been stuck at the first postal location with no movement since. It'll likely just show up at some point, without the tracking being updated, possibly.

Anyway, excited for "ETMD" and "RX" to already be out today. Just ordered them a couple of days ago.

The Canadian Blu for Before I Wake is great simply for existing but its complete lack of special features is a major bummer.

I'd love for anyone to put out a proper stacked Blu but I haven't heard anything about a new release.

I paid like $70 for mine a year or two ago. I also have the 88 Films version, which is also OOP.

Evilspeak came in today from Amazon. Shrink wrapped and everything. Not bad for $24.99

Lucky! I had a similar experience with The Last Horror Film as it popped up for sale back in July and I immediately placed an order... within a day or two I had an estimated delivery date of November 15th... that day came and went however and Amazon asked for an extension on my delivery as they have no eta now and so I have no idea what happened with that as I assumed a box of those were found as well but it's looking unlikely that I'll be getting my order.

Got to my copy of The Evil That Men Do last night. I have to say it is an easy 3-3.5 star PQ. It's not spectacular, but not as bad as I thought it would be. A lot of the film is shot in the daytime, so it shines in many spots. Bit rate was 30-35 the whole movie, so didn't see any compression issues. There are lots of specs and a little dirt here and there. It could have used a slight clean up job, but grain seemed to be well managed and not manipulated. Detail was not bad at all, didn't notice any noise. Sound was Master Audio mono and was clear as a bell. $30 is a little steep for this, as Kino would have probably done the same job for half the price, but Kino don't have this movie...So $30 it was for a nice installment in the Bronson filmography. Not his best, but very entertaining.
