I think it would be best if Scream did the SPM 4k and then Vin Syn did a 4k double feature of SPM 2&3

Slumber Party Massacre double feature is cool, but what about part 3 ? Guessing we'll see a triple feature in a year or two... or perhaps they lost the rights?

If they have the rights to 3 they'll probably wait until this latest set has been on the market a few months, then sell individual steelbooks of all three. It's how they stay in business.

So that's it for Scream/Shout for Feb?

I know the HK/Kung Fu/Action craze is big right now, just not my thing. So many labels jumping on the bandwagon now. Glad for those who dig it though. Slumber Party Massacre only for me if both are in 4K.

I love the HK stuff, so this is good news for me. I really want more of the gangster stuff though. The 80's-2000's were littered with the Triad films. From John Woo, to Johnnie To. Who knows what's up with the Woo films, but I'm guessing the Johnnie To films are open game. Exhiled, Election I & II, Vengeance, The Mission, Fulltime Killer.

As for Scream Factory, I'm really hoping for some horror titles not on Blu-ray. I think it's been a year now since we found out someone had A Simple Plan. Kinda wish I didn't find out, because I'm hoping for it every month only to get a bit disappointed it's not announced. I THINK Shout has a decent amount of Paramount titles in the works, but it's been a bit quiet.

I'd be more excited for that honestly. The Shout line is cool for releases of stuff that isn't in line with Scream, I just see a lot of the boutique labels going HK/Martial Art/Kung fu crazy lately.

It's just odd for a single horror release from Scream, hopefully more that haven't been leaked.

Yeah, I would imagine there is more than just one title coming from Scream, but we'll see. They usually have some anime too, and nothing has been leaked there. I'm guessing we'll know by Monday, but if they don't reveal anything by Friday, I'm thinking art might leak this weekend.

Agreed as long as the Krautrock soundtrack is intact.

No interest once again in 4K upgrades sadly; but hopefully this will bring the price of the SPM double feature bluray down a bit.

Dragonheart is a cool release though.

Considering that there were almost no martial arts films being released in North America not too long ago, it's a good thing that a bunch of labels are bringing stuff out at a rapid pace. We're really far beyond what Europe was getting.

Dealsrus removed all of the listings, so I guess no more leaks today unless they show up somewhere else.

Extremely excited by the prospect of getting the inexplicable batshittery of Slumber Party Massacre II in 4K. I'll hang onto my double feature Blu of II and III if the rights to III are indeed tangled up, preventing its upgrade or rerelease.

Shit i look to fast about Slumber Party Massacre. I thought it was Part 2 and 3 as a double feature. and we got the first one as collector`s edition. That sucks big time

Viewing it for the first several times I was blown away. But once I saw better CGI, it kind of takes a backseat.

Same here. I don't care for the Shaw Brothers kung-fu stuff from the '70s, but I'll take heroic bloodshed films and late '80s/early '90s wuxia any day.
