I watched my copy of R Xmas yesterday. It looks pretty rough. Lots of dirt and an occasional bright spot in the right side at times. Looks like a definite dvd master. I thought I had seen this film before, but it didn't ring a bell. That's good, because I thought it was awful. This is why the $30 price tag sucked. Evil That Men Do was fine for $30, but this really left a bad taste in my mouth. Frankly, anyone want a copy, send me a pm and I'll sell it to you...

The site exclusives have pretty much been the only outlet for new-to-Blu-ray Scream Factory releases for a good while. Since last June, there have only been 2 general retail releases that were new-to-Blu (in the US) - Fire in the Sky and Company of Wolves. In terms of the other releases, only 6 are new to the Scream Factory brand (Child's Play 2 and 3, Evil Dead, Rollerball, Freaky, Ouija). Note that I don't include the IFC stuff.

The site exclusives are fine for catalogues owned or distributed by Shout Factory, but it's unlikely we'll see many big studio licences sold that way (Paramount, Sony, and in particular Warner Bros).

Does anyone know if Scream Factory will sell a new insert for a movie? I picked up Escape from New York 4k and it had a small tare in the face of the insert.

Just Magnificent Seven and the SPM 4Ks for me.

I wonder if Shout has any plans to upgrade the Sleepaway Camp films.

I think at this point with their flow of 4K remaster/ressiues, I'd say at least the first film is pretty much a given. Definitely would like the sequels too, so we'll see!

I am surprised they aren't doing My Bloody Valentine 4K for Feb. . Might not see it until 2024 now.

Maybe they are waiting a little bit because they had just released the steebook a little over a year ago...but it didn't stop them with They Live, so who knows.

Went ahead and ordered Slumber Party and Bubba. Will hold off on Zu and Iron Monkey as they appear to be slipless and unlimited.

I already have the Eureka releases, and I don't expect Shout will top those.
