Wouldn’t mind seeing what SF might be doing with those Bava titles, if anything.

And some Shaw horror, which I really thought would’ve popped up by now.

I was wondering the same thing, so I reached out to Rough Cut video a local shop and they said this:

"t is Available. It was switched to US only title last minute, which is unfortunate because US only titles are expensive in comparison to other imports. Here is the link."

^ The response I got from Shout Factory was:

"At times some films do not obtain the rights to be sold in Canada unfortunately, we would recommend reaching out to Amazon directly for products they sell as we do not control what products they put up."

I responded:

"With all due respect, this sounds more like something you as the company should look into, rather than me as the customer. But thank you for your reply."

Yeah, I hate when a killer is a jerk

Hush isn't a masterpiece, but it's pretty good and certainly worth seeing once in my opinion.

I'm not a big martial arts guy, but I absolutely love the Shaw horror titles and I'll buy any of those anyone puts out.

They were not able to obtain the rights to release this in Canada as it is owned by another company here, why do you feel the need to be a douche towards them about it ? It is not their responsibility to help you purchase a copy from other sources…

It looks like it’s Amazon’s fault not shout factory. Like they said they don’t control what they put for sale

I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece, but it's a very effective home invasion film. It was better than a lot of the stuff that Netflix was outputting at the time.

Their website currently has both titles labelled as being available in US & Canada, so that's where the confusion came from. I understand now, thanks to Grimfrost talking to Rough Cut Video, that this information is false.

In situations where a website doesn't list a product that they should, companies will definitely look into it for you. For example, here is Eureka's response when I mentioned 'A Man Called Tiger' wasn't on Unobstructed View.

It's very good. I don't think the film was ever released theatrically (aside from festival screenings), which probably didn't help its reputation.

Wait, do I still get the slipcover from Amazon, or now it's all SF store exclusive?
(it's been a while since the last time I bought one of their releases..)

That particular bundle that's pictured with 2 slips and 2 posters is a SF store exclusive, but the regular wide release will come with a slipcover from Amazon too.

Video Alert! A new season of Dave James Parker’s Horror in the ‘80s series is underway, and for this episode me, him, and Nathaniel Thompson attempt to shine some light on Jack Sholder’s superb shocker ALONE IN THE DARK (1982) – and we’re joined by a very special guest: the director himself! Hear everything you’ve ever wanted to know about the film straight from the source, including some talk on his early days at New Line Cinema, how editing the fan fave slasher THE BURNING (1981) helped prepare him for the gig, dealing with a cast of legends (Jack Palance! Martin Landau! Donald Pleasence!), and so much more! There’s even a little time spent on some of his other directorial efforts like A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2: FREDDY’S REVENGE (1985), WISHMASTER 2: EVIL NEVER DIES (1999) and ARACHNID (2001). So give it a look and get educated on one of the ‘80s most underrated thrillers!

When MifuneFan finds out you’ll know. No point everyone guessing because scream factory don’t tease their releases like Arrow but i think they will be at least 2 more bangers not just Hush (2016) on 4K

^ Aside from Hush, what are the other titles we know are coming from Scream/Shout in a matter of time? I remember Red Sonja was one of them.
