Was Ma actually leaked or are people confusing it with Mama?

Maybe they just wanted to wait until Monday to let us all down.

The only label who is releasing pretty dope never on disc shit is Terrorvison imo. They give me the feels that Vinegar Syndrome and Scream Factory once had. Both have gone major mainstream, and that's ok, but Terror Vision is where it's at, just wish they released more stuff.

I guess it's OK to talk about other labels while we sit and wait with our thumbs up our, well, you know. Terror Vision is on my radar as they've teased a ton of titles that interest me but it's Red Shirt Pictures that has me salivating. Between them and Synapse, they'll be holding my wallet hostage this year and next. Can't say the same about ANY other label, sadly. Well, maybe Arrow but they gotta stop picking up titles like Lost In Space lol.

They are starting to update the website now. Nothing we didn't already know about yet though.

Terror Vision are definitely releasing some good stuff, and have really found their feet. Same with Red Shirt Pictures.

Scream/Shout could release some fresh stuff if they really wanted to. The desire is gone though. Can't blame them when people keep lapping up steelbook rehashes of the same movie 10 times over. Those people help keep them lazy.

Not looking good.

I'm curious to know how 25 'releases' became, well, this. Sad (and indeed concerning) times when a Scream Factory September slate is this pitiable.

They have unique announcements but they'll randomly take several weeks to ship something. Better to buy through Orbit or Diabolik to get it in a timely manner.

A far cry from the SDCC days. Those annoucements were fun and FULL of surprises/exciting titles.

We were wrong. It wasn't 25 releases, it was 2.5 releases

Yes, some people are getting the two confused:

Mama (2013), not Ma (2019) was leaked and is up for preorder at Orbit.

For September, yes, there are a ton of releases lined up, but today is June 30th. We were talking announce dates, not street dates.

I mean, the Chucky 8-Film bundle is something.

Either more will be announced later today/tomorrow or at SDCC.

A question Shout Insider if I may - how many Scream Factory releases can we expect to be released in October, that aren't steelbook re-issues? Thanks.

Hell, even last September was quite strong (Stepfather 4K, Village of the Damned 4K, Amityville remake 4K, Strangers 4K, a couple of others).

It does feel like the departures of Jeff and especially Cliff are really beginning to bite now. The main potential for SF these days is 4K upgrades of Universal titles they released on Blu, but something seems to be going on there, as they've kind of dried up this year.

Agreed. Last September was pretty strong. I'll mainly be relying on Red Shirt Pictures, Arrow and occasionaly VS for some exciting fresh to disc stuff going forward.
