I wonder if The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014) is in the UHD cards for Scream Factory. It looks like RLJ's home video rights have expired, and the film is owned by MGM, according to the copyright info. Underrated film. It's very meta, a bit smarter than most reboots, and I like it more than the original.

It's the exact same interpositive. It was lost at some point, and they found it again. The Blu-ray was from a 2K scan of it, this time it'll be a 4K scan, and newer restoration work.

They had the ability to. According to IMDb they shot on the Sony F55 which shoots 4K.

Even if it was a 1080 capture, that wouldn’t stop Scream Factory, who has released plenty of 2K-shot movies on UHD (Carrie ‘13, Ouija, etc).

Even a new Blu-ray with extras would be welcome because the RLJ disc was barebones.

If we get some reissues, I'd like something related to Tales from the Crypt and some more Wes Craven content.

The Salvador 4K spine slipcover says "200".

The Miami Vice Collectors Edition should have been 199.

I`m very curious when we`ll see a Miami Vice release now.

Has this happened before that Collectors Editions didn`t get released
in chronological order of their spine numbers!?
