I don't think they're around anymore, so I don't know if it went back to the original holders or if Steven King crept in and got it for dirt cheap when Peace Arch was closing, somebody's gotta know.
It was more sci-fi suspense than slasher IMO, but should still be marketable on its fun factor and for Steven King's writing AND directing.

One of only 6 80's sci-fi or slasher films I still have in DVD because there's no other way of watching this classic OUT OF PRINT title.

MGM is on a Cannon Films Blu Ray roll, they'll do it soon I would imagine...

Sounds good, I'd like to see Fright Night 1 and 2 get a good BR treatment with more than just a theatrical trailer. A commentary would be nice

Very odd. My copy of the 2001 release is from Anchor Bay. The 2004 release was through 20th Century Fox and the 2011 Double Fetaure release is through Phase4Films.

Peace Arch Entertainment's new name is phase4films. Same company with new name, just like First Look Pictures adopted its parent company's name Millennium Entertainment.

Hey Cmac, I'd like to know if everyone who pre-order the Scream Factory releases will have the slipcovers?
I wanted to pre-order them on Amazon and then I had a second thought. I want to be sure to get them

I just preordered it from them so hopefully I will get the same notice. We just better get the slipcase covers.

it will be on all copies of the first pressing, for sure, to all retailers.

Could scream factory somehow, please...somehow get their hands on the entire Halloween series? Would be great. A true remastered edition of "Black Christmas" would be excellent as well.
