Great to hear, thanks again. (BTW, have edited my other post, removing Scorpion from the list, as you've clearly not slowed down and it's my mistake in suggesting otherwise.)

Back on topic,

Anyone know who has the rights to The Beastmaster? That's one I'd love to see Shout Factory handle.

I believe Echo Bridge has it, as BEASTMASTER is in one of those 6 movie packs they have. (Fantasy and Action 6 movie pack is the name of the set)

Default The Pit?

I don't suppose Shout/Scream would be interested in "the Pit" would they? or does someone else have it? It was beyond crazy, but it was one of the earliest horror films I saw as a kid and it's stuck with me through the years. MGM's dvd is crap and very overpriced since it's OOP these days...

You're talking about the movie with the kid, the evil teddy bear and the cave with the monster at the bottom? Anchor Bay released it on DVD, not MGM. It was on a double feature with HELLGATE. Cool disc.

It's Region A locked. All Scream Factory titles are and will be Region A locked.

I hope to never see Hellgate in hd though; naked Horshack was bad enough in standard def.

Yea me too. I don't care if I have 3 or 4 DVD's of something. If a good Blu-ray transfer is available, I want that too.

Hellgate is such a fun movie, and way more entertaining than The Pit. I think it used to be available in HD on Netflix.

Hey Cliff, I just received my orders for "Naked Angels" and "Sweet Kill" in the mail and my order came with a 2012 Shout Factory Video Catalog. Skimming through it, I noticed that "Phantasm II" is dated for November 6, 2012. I'm willing to bet that the catalog was sent to the printers before you guys really started work on any of the Scream Factory titles but I figured it's worth asking if that street date is still the intended one? In addition, can we expect any Scream Factory goodies or early releases at New York Comic Con? Thanks in advance!

I was just more concerned with getting in early for a slipcover on both of them, and Cmac assured us the pre-orders on Amazon also get the slips, so I'm good with that.
I'm really looking forward to these.
I very rarely pre-order, but all of these appear to be well worth it and Shout/Scream Factory is really making a great impression so far
i wish i had the cash to preorder all of screams blurays. i pre-ordered H2 and H3 from amazon. im in the same boat. i almost never preorder anything and i buy a ton of used blus.

as i already own most of these movies on dvd im not in a huge rush to go out and spend 30 bucks a pop for these movies again. there are certain titles that price would be no object and i would just have to buy (prince of darkness). but titles like terror train which really isnt my thing will have to wait untill i see a used copy. they live is a good movie and fun house is even better but i cant justify spending that much.

Hey Cmac! if you had to guess, what month can we expect to hear an announcement on up coming titles for 2013. As you can see im really excited. Now, that all the major catalog movies have been released on blu ray it looks like 2013 is going to be the year Scream Factory really shines.

See I liked The Pit much more as an actual movie and the Halloween scenes and autumn setting helped.
Hellgate though was hilarious, Troll 2 type hilarious though. There needs to be a Rifftrax for it.

I will agree that from a film-making stand-point, The Pit is the better film. But Hellgate is a guilty pleasure gem!

I think if more people were aware of movies like Hellgate and Elves, they'd realize that there are much better "worst movies" out there than Troll 2.
