Really! Ms. 45 is one of the most wanted movies, and they already had it. Why wouldn't Shout release it? I'm insanely curious, because this was one of the 'Terror in the Aisles' films. Its crazy. Can anything be done about Ms. 45? Look how many people have mentioned it on this forum alone! We need this...

Any chance of getting ROCKTOBER BLOOD (1984)?

A Company named Panama Films was going to releasing ROCKTOBER BLOOD on DVD in 2008. When I called the number listed on the site (352-601-3556) back in 2008 they said they are the original makers of ROCKTOBER BLOOD and all of the home video rights had expired thus reverting the rights back to them. They were in the process of putting together an investor group to release ROCKTOBER BLOOD. Well 4 years have passed and still no ROCKTOBER BLOOD, maybe Scream Factory can team up with Panama Films for a DVD/Blu-Ray release.

Visit the website at:

I was looking at Wikipedia for movies in that time period...personally Id like Leviathan, Pumpkinhead or the Offspring if its an MGM title...
But I can see things like The Beleivers , Celler Dweller, Dolls,
The Video Dead seems to be a sought after movie, but I havent seen it yet...
The Blob would be great but it will be a Twilight Time movie
The Kindred Id love but its in limbo
To Die For would be really welcome but I dont know who owns it (not the Kidman one )
but the one Id want the most is still Fright Night part II only because the DVD is of VHS full frame quality and has no extras

Clive Barker's complete "Kabal" cut of Nightbreed?
I'm liking the timeframe, although it elimates a few great John Carpenter possibilites!

DOLLS is a big possibility. The first two titles to be announced were both Empire Pictures productions, no reason not to think they haven't acquired other Empire titles. Actually it's the onlt title I can think of from the given time period.

I think almost all of the Empire/MGM titles are from '85-'90:

From Beyond, Ghoulies, Troll, and many more obscure titles (like Cellar Dweller, which I mentioned ).

I probably said this before (it's hard to keep up with this thread), but why do we even need or want Shout! to get Escape From New York or the other Phantasm films? The respective studios for those films already put out special editions with plenty of extras, and even if they're not on Blu-Ray, I have to be more excited for the titles they have released, almost all of which are getting special editions I've wanted for years but never thought would actually come to fruition. Someone even mentioned American Werewolf in London, which a) had a collector's edition DVD, b) had a feature-length doc added to the extras for a re-release, and c) came out on Blu-Ray for that re-release.

EDIT: Man, I found the post I thought I made. It was 17 days ago, but it's 40 pages back. 40 pages!

Hmm... with the hint for tomorrow's announcement I'm placing bets on "The Video Dead" or "Fright Night Part II". Is it just me or ever since these Friday announcements started, the day itself is just so much more exciting?

Well, FEAR CITY was part of a bigger deal... and it has a much bigger cast. Unfortunately, there are people higher up than I that can squash titles.
I haven't completely given up.

I was thinking Fright Night 2 also. And with Tommy Lee Wallace's participation for the Halloween 3 Blu-ray/DVD, I don't see why he wouldn't be involved for Fright Night 2. I'm also thinking Prince of Darkness will get announced some time, probably closer to next fall though. Cellar Dweller would also be awesome, along with every other title everyone on here mentions. This is such a great time to be a horror fan and a movie collector.
