Would love a "Blacula/Scream, Blacula, Scream" double feature on blu-ray. Especially considering MGM has abandoned its "Soul Cinema" line on home video...

Thanks for posting all that info, Zbinks! Very helpful indeed. I'm sure a Blu-ray release for "New Year's Evil" will come next holiday season. I think you're onto something with how your list is broken down but I feel like each week is going to be completely random. A few weeks in a row it'll be lesser known / never before on DVD titles then a few weeks of higher profile stuff and then a few weeks of complete surprises. I'm sure that the Scream Factory panel at Horrorhound Weekend (which I will be attending and keeping you guys posted) will have some higher profile announcements in store. My money is on "The Fog" at the very least. I'm tempted to say "The Howling" as well but with Scream Factory planning that box set for next Halloween season, it's tough to say for sure. I'd love for Scream Factory to surprise us at that event and announce they landed "Prom Night" as well

I would love that! Been wanting to see that for so long but it's been OOP for a while now and fetching ridiculously high prices.

I remember renting TTTDS thinking it was a vampire movie. I don't remember much about the film now but I'll definitely grab a copy -I'm sure it's worth a revisit. To the people who were complaining that Shout wasn't announcing big titles, is this one "big" enough for you?
Like someone else mentioned no, these aren't really high profile titles. I doubt anyone not in the horror community has seen or heard of these, but...

I am not disappointed one bit! Have been wanting to check out Town That Dreaded Sundown for a while now. It has one of the coolest theatrical posters around and I love the look of the killer, even if it has been done a few times since. Apparently it is based on a true story.

I don't know too much about The Evictors but the trailer looks cool so again it's one I will eventually pick up. They haven't announced anything yet that I won't pick up.

Still, can't wait until they start announcing the big titles like The Fog, The Burning and The Howling though!

A perfect sci fi film for Scream Factory to start with would be CREATURE starring Klaus Kinski!

I would say CREATURE, WITHOUT WARNING, LIFEFORCE and even ALIEN PREDATORS all have a very good chance of making the list of titles.

Okay, so for all the people that have been *****ing about the previous movies, you have to admit that The Town That Dreaded Sundown is a great and a must have. I'm so happy it's finally being released, it's such an underrated film. I have to admit that it is a bit slow a times, but the overall tone is so creepy and dark that it makes up for it.
As for The Evictors, I've never heard of it.... is it any good? I wanna know what others have to say about this one.

I remember seeing "Town" on HBO as a teenager. That madman running around at night scared the crap out of me. I know I would be home by dark the week after I saw it. Our suburban neighborhood, with its trees and bushes was unforgiving.

I can't wait to finally see this again.

If you like The Town That Dreaded Sundown, I think you would probably like The Evictors as well. IMO, The Town That Dreaded Sundown is better though.

The Town That Dreaded Sundown is one horror movie that I've been waiting forever for on DVD and is the only film of the six MGM films announced that I've seen before.

It's kind of a proto-slasher, but at the same time doesn't necessarily play out as a typical horror movie. In a way it's like Zodiac, if Zodiac were filmed in the mid-70's with a low budget, set in mid-40's Texarkana rather than 60's - 80's San Francisco and placed a greater focus on the murders than it did the investigation of said murders.

I'm actually doing the opposite. The Nest is actually surprisingly pretty good and a lot of fun...while IMO Deadly Blessing is a mess and is the definition of wasted potential.
