It only makes sense that WB would release the titles that are already prepped for a Blu-ray release first. I doubt that they would pay for the rights to release movies that they have no intention of releasing. After the previously released Paramount titles are re-released, I think that we'll start to see previously-unreleased titles being put out on Blu-ray.

Then why don't they release the stuff they never released before?

I saw Planes Trains and Automobiles in a store and it has a reprinted cover with the WB logo on the back... I assume all will end up like this. No idea if its the same old disc inside though.

I thought those still frames from THE NEST look great. Very natural looking. I honestly didnt expect it to look that good. Pleasant surprise.

I agree. No doubt it'll get a score of 2.5/5 or 3/5 on the official review though :P

Since we put up so many wishlists and discuss ALOT of artwork i thought it would be cool to have a thread dedicated to it - THE ULTIMATE HORROR WISHLIST thread is up in the wishlist forum. post the horror films you want on blu and add a pic of the artwork.

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...85#post7055185

Will do, I've seen about 3100-3200 horror movies and I have a HUGE blu ray wish list.

Noticed on Netflix that before Mario Bava's "A Bay of Blood" there is a title that says KINO - MARIO BAVA COLLECTION.

So, are they planning on getting this blu-ray out any time soon? I heard about it a while back, but not recently.

I watched Of Unknown Origin the other night and it may have been the hardest thing I have ever had to sit through...I can't believe it actually has a decent fanbase.

Thumbs up

Anchor Bay released "Curse of the Mummy" in the Uk on dvd. The USA rights are public domain, but it JUST got put there. Maybe Shout can do a BD release!

I won't rest until Scream Factory releases:
Motel Hell!!!

It would be great if Scream Factory started to release some foreign horror films too. I'd love to see Toho's Bloodthirsty / Dracula trilogy get a release as they never even made it on DVD in the US.

The closest thing I've experienced to a proper retro horror theatrical screening was a rare 35mm print of ReAnimator the other night,

All the other horror movies I've seen in a cinema have been 2 or 4K DCP's or digital projections.

I agree "Motel Hell" definately needs that blu-ray bump. I won't use giant bold letters for emphasis, but I will repeat: MOTEL HELL should be on Blu Ray in North America.

And... I think you mean "Dawn of the Mummy", that's the only mummy movie Anchor Bay has treated. Its an 80's slasher/b monster movie. Its decent. The Anchor Bay dvd was okay, but I'm holding out for a legit deluxe US release.

"Curse of the Mummy" IS a Universal film and they still have the rights.

I cannot wait to see the artwork for "The Town that Dreaded Sudown".
