I hope the "classic" horror doesn't slack up. It should out weigh the 'contemporary' ones...

Never even heard of this up till now. It might be pretty decent...the three reviewers on IMDB seem to fancy it.

Its a made for television movie.

DEAD SOULS isn't very good, in my opinion. Its a Chiller Channel movie that was first shown around Halloween of 2012. It has a fairly decent cast, but the movie itslef didn't do it for me.

I think Shout! has a deal with the Chiller Channel already, and that's the main reason they released it, they didn't go out of their way to release some amazing film, it just kinda got offered to them.

I'll pick it up just to say I have all the Scream Factory films, but I didn't like it a whole lot. It might be one of those movies you have to learn to love, I guess.

I'm watching the MGM film "Dressed to Kill" for the first time. I finally caved in and bought the MGM Blu-Ray, after I missed out on the dvd.

Since they've already released it, MGM probably won't liscense it to Scream Factory, but if its as good as people say, I'd really like to see a collector's edition of this film.

The package from Best Buy was ripped, and the postwoman saw the cover. She told me how it was a really great film and that she hadn't seen it in a while. Lol.

The "NINJA 3" blu-ray says Shout Factory on the spine, but "Howling" and "Dead Souls" say Scream Factory... :?

Can someone also re-order the first post as it still lists LifeForce above the others that will be release prior.

It's a pre-production mock-up that was likely created before they let fans vote on it's status. Note that the release numbers on the spine for each of the titles is listed as SF 00000. The logo and release number will be altered before the Blu-Ray goes into production.

This happened with Halloween II and Halloween III as well.

Thank you Frightener, didn't check AMZ and saw your post. Locked in The Howling and hope it'll drop to $19.99 like the others have.

I'd always joked that Brian DePalma might not have been doing that great a Hitchcock imitation with Dressed to Kill, but dang, is he doing a dead-on uncanny imitation of Joe Eszterhas.
(But then, considering that Joe didn't start writing the sleazy stuff until '83, DePalma might have actually helped create the Eszterhas we know today...)

He's probably too busy making special appearances in strip malls and supermarket openings in New Jersey. I hear there's big money in those gigs for former famous secondary cast members of long-ago popular sitcoms.

Would of been great to hear from the more well known cast members but for me i wanted to hear from Leah Ayres the most,so im very happy. She's a stunner in both The Burning and Bloodsport.

Excellent recomendation on FaceBook!!

"Roller Coaster"

I would love to see this on BLU-RAY!!

A thriller/action film from 1977. ROLLER COASTER is about a serial killer that targets amuesment parks, attempting to blow up the rides and the teens that are on them. It also involves the FBI trying to track down the killer as he bounces from park to park. It features many big-name amuesment parks and is a fun movie alltogether!

I would love to see this get the Scream Factory treatment, or even just Shout Factory. Either way this film would be great on BLU-RAY!!

I was actually thinking Rollercoaster would be an awesome Scream/Shout Factory title a few days ago, what with it being Universal and all. And it's evident Universal doesn't give a crap about the movie, as the last time it was released on DVD was way back in 1998 with a non-anamorphic transfer. Maybe they could get Timothy Bottoms to do an interview or a commentary... or both!

+1

It was originally shown in Sensurround which caused audience seats to vibrate during certain periods during the "thrill scenes" on the rides.

Maybe they could get George Segal Bottoms to do an interview or a commentary... or both!

Yeah, being that "RollerCoaster" is Universal it is a big possibility. I think it would fit the SCREAM label better than NINJA 3.
Helen Hunt has one of her first performances in this action adventure extraveganza. Its a really creepy terrorism kinda movie.

If this film were released by Shout! Or Scream! I would definately pick up a Blu Ray copy! Its a really fantastic film.

StarWars kinda overshadowed it but its a classic piece of cinema. It is star-studded, with many great performances in it.

Here's hoping Cliff is reading this and understands how desperate the fans are for a really good release!

Another good film would be MGM's "ThunderRoad".
