If you need confirmation, just google "Mandy Lane" on google news. There are a ton of links to this news story.

A little off-topic, but I just had to share it with a lot of you who've been talking about Scream possibly putting it out!!
Hey, it only took 7 years!

Great news though! I purchased the region free UK Blu a long time ago, but I'd happily buy a US DVD/Blu for some extras. I thought the film was quite good. Loved the locations - filmed here in Texas! Amber Heard was quite a delight to look at too!

It has a fairly well known cult status in America.

In 20 years people will look back and see that MANDY LANE is more than just a tease, its gonna be the Dressed to Kill of the mid 2001's

I wish Scream could get Maximum Overdrive (1986). I'd love to have it in 1080p loaded with extras including any involvement with Emilio Estevez (commentary, documentary interviews)

All right! All right, god damnit! You want a war, you got one. How'd you like that, chicken shit!

Good 'ole Bubba Hendershot (Pat Hingle)

My first Howling disc did the same thing. It's because in order to put both the widescreen version, fullscreen version, and special edition content on a single disc they had to release it on a DVD-14. DVD-14 and DVD-18 discs are notorious for having high failure rates due to the complexity of manufacturing DVDs with multiple layers on double-sided discs.

Luckily I was able to get it replaced without having to purchase a new one.

I think Shout/Scream should get these movies:

- PIRANHA 2: the spawning, I think Olive or Twilight Time might have it, but who knows. This is an amazing film and someone should look into it.

- PIRANHA (1995) the remake that stars Mila Kunis, never had a really legit release on blu-ray or dvd. A wonderful Roger Corman/Shotime film. My favorite of all the Piranha films, there are 5 now! Lol.

Would you be interested in these Cliff?!

Yeah, Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II is a decent little film. It creeped the hell out of me back in the day and it still holds up pretty good now. I'd welcome a Blu-ray release along with a Blu-ray release of the 1980 original. (Parts 3 and 4 are garbage though)

It's questionable why Prom Night II didn't have much of anything to do with the 1980 original. I guess when you think about it, there really wasn't anywhere to go with the ending of the 1980 original. I suppose Jamie Lee Curtis' character could have become the killer for the sequel, but by the time part II came along in 1987, Curtis had stopped doing horror films, so she would have most likely said no.

Wasn't William Katt (Roger Cobb from 1986's House) the star of that one?

Actually, the movie was never intended to be a sequel to Prom Night. It was retitled before being released. It just ironically had a few nods to the original, such as Hamilton High being the same name as the Jamie Lee school.

But that doesn't take away from how incredible it is!

I also think the Sleepaway Camp set would be cool.

No. It's about a guy who's girlfriend is slowly becoming a zombie. It's really a fascinating take on the franchise/genre

If it has been posted, than I am sure this has as well: ROTLD 2 is a WB title, and they only license out to Criterion. Again (maybe this should be in the first post as well!) check Film Aficianado first to see who owns what.
