Wow you really decoded that. I would never have guessed. I really am hoping it's an Amityville collection. I really want Scream to nab the Psycho sequels as well.

Still wondering about that part. It's also too bad they couldn't get any of the sequels from Lionsgate to make a more substantial box.

How about Slither ? Has that had a Blu Ray release in the USA ?
They didn't say that none of the films have had a Blu-ray release just that at least one has never been on blu-ray before.

Yeah based on the hints it certainly seems like an Amityville Collection seems likely. I'm certainly game for it if so

Nice, always meant to see the Amityville films.

Makes sense though, being MGM titles.

Its more than enough,

If it is an Amityville set it would be a day one purchase for me.got a real nostalgia for the series(i remember staying up late as a kid and being scared witless by those red eyes and "GET OUT" voice).the 2nd too is a great sleazy sequel and the 3rd is cheesy in the right way.would still like some hd haunted lamps, mirrors and dollhouses down the line too.

Agreed! The first Amityville I saw was the second one actually. After the first three I kind of lost interest but it would be really cool if Scream could release all of them.

I know 3d releases are pricey, but here's hoping Shout/Scream can release Amityville 3 in its original 3D!

It wouldn't be Shout!'s first 3D release. I think that honor would go to A Monster in Paris 3D.

Great news about Amityville box set. If this does come to be, I hope Scream goes all out. I mean , lets get some documentaries on the actual haunting. There are many fascinating specials on the subject that would be an amazing contribution to the set. Yes, 3D would be also cool. Can't wait.

I still have the DVD that came with the old DVD trilogy box set that included 2History Channel docs, I think there have been 2-3 newer documentaries about the real case/haunting that have been released/aired recently. I am kinda hoping for maybe 2 disc of extras becasue there is just sooooo much out there

Amityville II is my personal favorite in the initial trilogy. I love how it doesn't hold back at all. Family massacre? Go for it. Incest? Sure!

Amityville 3D isn't actually that bad. The first film, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The only part that I felt was actually scary was when the demonic voice says "get out" to the priest.

The MGM Blu-Ray for the original didn't carry over any of the DVD special features other than the theatrical trailer, so pretty much anything would be an improvement in that department even if they just ported over the DVD special features.

The 2 latest documentaries are MY AMITYVILLE HORROR and, a year or so ago, THE AMITYVILLE HORROR: THE TRUE STORY. The later one debunks the events with some big wow moments in it but the new I believe is all from the point of view of one of the Lutz children, I think. I remember the DVD and it was a sweet extra on that box.

I've never seen any Amityville films outside of the original and its remake. Neither make me anxious to check any others but part 2 sounds like it'd be right up my alley.

it would be great to have these:

- Amityville Confidential DVD disc
- My Amityville Horror
- Amityville Horror: the true story
- Chiller Channel's short with the host of Paranormal State on the Real Amityville Horror
- the tv documentary with the real Ronald DeFeo made in 2011 for, i think, Bio, but maybe History.

and AMITYVILLE 4: THE EVIL ESCAPES,
which is with a very cheap-o company called Allumination Filmworks who have quite a few rare gems. im sure they would love to make a deal to get rid of it....

AMITYVILLE 4 THE EVIL ESCAPES is a fanatastic sequel i felt that they were trying to separate themselves from the other sequels, and it worked imo.

i think they should track this one down too. lol

The second box set IMO is probably Price. As cliff stated a few times he does have "a few vincent price films"... THEN AGAIN could be something else.......
