I'm guessing Cliff wanted The Amityville Horror series (at least the first three films) from the getgo.

I haven't heard kind things about the third film but I'll take my chances with them given that I have an interest in the first film. It helps that Linkara reviewed them too.

I'm wondering if the collection will be 3 individual cases to hold the movies or one. Really hoping we get the original theatrical art for each movie.

this. i enjoy the original for nostalgic reasons but its not that great. never bothered with any of the sequels. not quite as exciting of an announcement as i was hoping but theyve been on quite a roll lately so i cant complain. might blind buy it if its reasonably priced.

We don't even know 100% IF these are the titles that they will be releasing.
I, for one, adore the films. Some are cheesy, some are scary, but most fall somewhere in the middle. They're really interesting films. After all, they're America's original haunted house franchise. They're classics...

Two words: Can't Wait!!

I hope that they are going to do these with the original art in individual cases. Then the big cardboard slip around them has new artwork compiling characters and events from each film! That would be amazing! I already know there will be tons of Special Features.

but i would take really anything, these films are AMAZING!

Can a MOD please update the front page to include COCKNEYS VS ZOMBIES tba 2013, and also move LIFEFORCE to the month of release dates it belongs.

As much as I love Scream Factory I have come to the conclusion that only the collectors edition titles are worth buying. It has nothing to do with video/audio or special features but the simple fact that the movies just aren't very good.
Death Valley was ok but The Nest, The Island and Terrorvision/Video Dead were all incredibly painful viewing experiences that I do not wish to repeat.

THE VAMPIRE LOVERS disc looks great on the review. I have never seen the film before but I will gladly blind buy. It looks real fun.
