An Amityville set would be kind of cool.

I have parts II and III on R2 DVD in those two disc special editions, and while I don't watch them often, I think I'd double dip for a definitive collection of the first three.

2 and 3 are easily the best films in the series and I'd KILL for a real 3D release of part 3.

Actually that honour goes to Sector 7, released June of last year.

As for Amityville Horror, that is awesome news! When the boxset was first brought up that was my prediction, I'm glad to be right! The first film needs a proper release and the second film is the best of the series! As for the third, I'm not a huge fan but if they give it a proper 3D release it would definitely be nice to have considering it is the best part about the movie. As for extras, everything from the previous DVD set is a must! Those documentaries were as good if not better then the films. It would be nice if they went all out though and included some new documentaries.

For those sayign they have only seen the first and gave up on the series, give the rest especially the second film a chance. They are all really different films. The first is a generic haunted house flick, a little outdated but still fun, the second is a dark and disturbing movie part courtroom drama, and the third is a silly mess, but again would be a blast to watch in 3D!

Wait, was there any confirmation of this or was it just a speculation by some people on this thread?

Scream Factory's March Madness deal today... all their Blu-rays for only $15 and $16 dollars each (depending on the title).

Stocking up on a few I'd missed.

Great deals on some, however their shipping rates kill this for me.

Don't forget you also get very nice 18 x 24 posters with many BDs.

Edit: These are the titles with remaining posters:

Phantasm II
From Beyond
Burning
Lifeforce
The Howling
Deadly Blessing

I ordered all 8; so $133.99 ended up costing $16.62 per item shipped and now they can join They Live in my collection. Thanks, WesReviews.

Also Prison is still listed as having a poster and Halloween II apparently somehow still carries the nurses hat.

You're not missing much if that hat isn't in your collection.
