Would anyone want to talk about Amityville 3D? It's just that well it seems to be one of the sequels in the series that's held in lesser regard.

I'm thinking two discs - one with the first film and its extras, and a second disc with the two sequels and probably an interview/retrospective on each one, plus perhaps commentary track(s).

I made the connection to the non-CE because they compared it to "Dark Angel" and "The Incredible Melting Man", which will ONLY have a blu-ray release. No dvd at all, which is the way they made it sound.

In the podcaset he comments saying that Cliff and everyone knows that Amityville 3D is wanted in 3D, and that are keeping that in mind.

So, there may be 3 discs, providing the 3rd film is on 3DBD, but that may not come to fruition.

I agree with you on the fact that there wouldn't be slipcovers or anything like that, and I feel that these might not have a HUGE amount of extras, but will probably still have a pretty decent amount.

I can't see Lori Laughlin or Meg Ryan doing an interview on it, but perhaps Candy Clark?

Maybe. I admit to seeing the film or at least half of it on tv. Let me put it to you this way, if a Horror sequel from the 80's can't keep the attention of a 12 year old, you're doing something wrong.

And that brings up another point about all 3 films, there is some serious star power in the Amityville franchise. Meg Ryan, Margot Kidder, Lori Loughlin, James Brolin, etc.

Would any of these people even be open to talk about their role?

Maybe Kidder. From II, I'm sure Diane Franklin would be down for an interview, and Tommy Lee Wallace could be. Maybe a commentary with the two of them?

I'd say so as as well especially since the director passed this year so getting behind the camera talent as Wallace for an interview would be ideal.

And He is usually pretty open for interviews, as far a crew goes he would be the main candidate.

Doubtfull, she did that film only for the money and she don't really care about it. From an old interview she did she had a deal with her agent, she always did one film for her and one for him (this being the films she didn't care for).

We can cross her off then. Who could they interview for the first film then?

[QUOTE=NoirFan;7412619]But Squirm was clearly a dark comedy to begin with - all of Lieberman's other films (Blue Sunshine, Remote Control, Satan's Little Helper) * have quirky elements of irreverent and intentional dark comedy. Tommy Wiseau is just a lousy filmmaker who made a lousy film.

* I haven't seen Just Before Dawn, but I'm guessing it's much more straight-forward than Lieberman's other four films.[/QUOT

Boy is it! Not much humor in that one....

Not too much... But her main scene is a spectacle of over the top atrocious acting...she would probably be embarrassed to comment....

Oh, she's the one who found the red room, isn't she? I haven't seen the film but I watched Linkara's review.

Rutanya Alda has said that she would love to be a part of the special features for Amityville 2 or at least she gave the impression.

I wouldn't anguish over demonically possessed incest with Diane Franklin.
