I think they have shot it down before but, Death Becomes Her would be a great title for Shout, especially if they could have Zemeckis issue the preview cut or include all the deleted scenes etc. I always felt like there were missing bits in the film. I always found it to be an interesting film. Hawn and Streep are great together.

Absolutely support this! Then again, it is a Robert Zemeckis film with an A-List cast so I could see Universal holding onto it. But, if Scream could get it off their hands it would be a terrific entry in the collection and an even better way to infuse some black comedic horror into the line-up.

My copies of TTTDS and The Burning are being delivered today

I watched The Video Dead lasy night, the movie had such potential, in the hands of a better Director with a bigger budget and better actors this could have been a kick a$$ zombie flick.

I was pleasantly surprised by The Video Dead. It didn't exactly set my world on fire, but given the way it's talked about -- "So bad it's good," "Poorly acted 80s trash," etc. -- I think it's rather unjustly smeared.

I mean, zombie films that rise to its level these days are pretty rare, which doesn't speak well of zombie cinema circa 2013.

other than Wikipedia. Shout could look into it by going to the original films' website and asking the director.

I think, according to the dvd, American Eagle Film Corp. Same company quoted on the back of a few more O.O.P Anchor Bay films on DVD. Them or United Film Distribution Company (UFDC) has it, assuming Universal doesn't.

Can you confirm if Universal has it, Cliff.
If you guys even know who has it or the sequels.
I don't believe so

I requested Death Becomes Her from SF a while back on their Facebook page; got a nice reception from fellow fans no response from SF though. I'd really love to see them release this one since if Universal ever decides to release it, they'd probably just dump it onto a blu-ray with zero special features, save for maybe a trailer.

Oh god, I tried to like The Video Dead, but I just couldn't get over how awful it was. Did like some of the things they did with the zombies, but the main cast were all jaw-droppingly awful.

Terrorvision, on the other hand, love that movie so much

My fears were realized, Halloween III came without a slip from Amazon today.

Anyone have an extra they'd be willing to part with?

Sign me up for the * I want Army of Darkness on Blu Ray crowd*
One last edition - the definitive version with all the versions including the MGM Hong Kong version, the scifi channel version, and all of the extras for the other versions, etc..
If Germany & France can get ultimate editions why cant we here in the USA ?
Im tempted to get that Koch media one - but it seems to have mixed reviews over the PQ...but its the edition that has everything Id want
This title to me has Scream Factory written all over it...

On the Shout side - I hope for Midnight Run

It's way too late in the game to expect the "Halloween" releases to still feature slip-covers.

Lesser slip-covers have sold for fair amounts of money, considering it is just cardboard.

It never ceases to amaze me that someone sounds like its the end of the world over a piece of cardboard that has the same art as the blu ray sleeve...
I don't get it

Speaking of missing slipcovers; Barnes & Noble ditches slip covers so you won't get a slip from them as good of a deal as that might be.

Those of you who have been requesting Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II, it might be time to flush that dream down the toilet.

Looks like Echo Bridge got their hands on it...
