Sometime maybe they might reconsider Squirm and i also want the MST3K version to come soon as well.

I hope it's The Boy Who Cried Werewolf as that is one that was never released on either DVD or blu-ray before and it's a universal title in need of one.

Who else also wants Tales from The Hood from SF? Universal now owns it and i think they might do it.

I, for one, expect MGM to release Pumpkinhead this October, sort of like how last year they released the Collector's Edition of TCM 2.

It isn't, but I gotta ask.... what's the big deal if it was? The Warner Archive BDs are pressed discs at reasonable prices. I own Hudsucker and its a good release, at least on par with many other mainline Warner releases of films from the same period.

Call me old fashioned, but I like to be able to find things in stores. The thrill of the hunt. I happen to know a store that has plenty of Scream titles: Terror Train, Funhouse, They Live, Halloween 2/3, TerrorVision/Video Dead, etc.

Ah. Well, yeah, that's "old fashioned" now. I can't even remember the last time I bought a BD or DVD in a B&M store. I've bought exclusively online for years now. Heck, I haven't even bought Christmas gifts for relatives in store for at least 2-3 years.

regarding The Thing:
We know Universal doesn't mind licensing out any type of title they have already released, Psycho to Warner, The Shadow to Shout, and Halloween 2 to Scream. Cliff even said he turned down the Child's Play sequels because of Universals plans, they still offered them though...

The Thing also got a blu release years before all three of those titles.

The Thing is in desperate need of an upgrade, regardless of whether Universal or Scream does it. I never bought the Universal blu-ray because they dropped the extra features. Same goes for the Dawn Of The Dead remake.

So I'm not sure that fact has much merit.

GONE WITH THE WIND, the highest grossing film ever, was released after THE THING, so unfortunately that is not a fair statement.

THE THING is rather likely in my opinion.

I am not disputing that it is a big cult film, but as mention before its been out longer. Obviously, more people would buy a film that has been available for years instead of ones that have only been out for a short amount of time.

Jaws: 5,485 blu-ray.com collections (combined)
E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial: 5,113 blu-ray.com collections (combined)
The Breakfast Club: 2,550 blu-ray.com collections (combined)

Lest we forget the collectors who are not part of the forum aka the general public who collects !

Batman XXX was probably released by a company called something like Ghetto Bros.
Gone With the Wind is Warner.
Jaws and The Thing share a studio.

I hope Cliff gets the rights from MGM and Fox for my ideal The Vindicator/Steel and Lace double feature as both are sci-fi horror thriller titles that never had a DVD or BD release before and need it.

I believe Cliff mentioned that there was some sort of problem with Steel and Lace preventing a DVD release.
