I would like to see "Popcorn" (1991) on BD, preferrably from Scream Factory. I mean, I went to look up the DVD on Amazon and someone wants $340 for it. No thanks. I should be able to buy the home video rights for that much.

Cliff said they hadn't started on that title so probably not for another two months or so if I had to guess.

Well, Horror Show, Body Bags, and Night of the Comet are all November releases.

I'm just going by what Cliff said not too long ago. They could announce it tomorrow for all I know (that would be nice).

Having never seen this but a longtime fan of HOUSE and HOUSE II, does this really have anything at all to do with the others or was it just arbitrarily called HOUSE III for foreign markets?

It has nothing at all to do with HOUSE or HOUSE II. It has a lot of the same behind the scenes personnel though which is why it somehow ended up with the HOUSE III moniker outside the U.S.

It also has a very similar plot to Wes Craven's SHOCKER which came out around the same time. As far as I remember, it's not as much fun as "Shocker" (and didn't do nearly as well) but I look forward to seeing it again just the same!

No connection. If you liked the first two, try and find the real House 3, House IV, which is the only direct sequel to the first. It has no DVD release. New Line owns it.

Sorry if this has been asked but any chance of a Road Games Blu-ray?

Also, I'd love to see you guys handle a Debra Hill tribute on some related Blu-ray.
Road Games would be awesome given the blu treatment, what a great thriller.

Never seen House IV, how does it compare to the first one?
(Thought II went off on wayyy too mainstream-goofy a tangent, and more interested in keeping the Cheers cameos and "dimensional doors" than in the mix of tongue-in-cheek chills, and the so-called III/THS was a cheap title grab.)

As much as I enjoyed Shocker, The Horror Show is better IMO. It has Brion James for starters, one of the best villains of the 80s. And Lance in the lead role. What more could you ask?

I love both.Brion James was awesome though.

I really hope The Horror Show comes with a commentary,it's the only House movie in my boxset that does'nt have one.

The only House movie that I've ever seen is Part II.

House IV is very goofy as well. Not too many seem to like it that much but ive got a soft spot for it and can forgive its flaws.Terri(The Nest) Treas is in it too and i loved her in the Alien Nation tv series.
