I don't think it's about "being/staying relevant", I think it's about fans sharing information with other fans. I'm pretty sure Frightner has earned a lot of member's trust on this site, with his hard work and interviews.

Cliff told him some of the titles after the last con announcement. (Swamp Thing was in there somewhere.) Perhaps he knows more titles that have not been announced yet.

That doesn't leave much for them to release if they decide to omit rare/obscure/cult slasher movies.

Speaking of relevant it is so much nicer to have John Doe NY on my ignore list because all of his posts are insulting, rude to users and irrelevant to the discussion. He pops up like a troll and says negative things toward users. Who needs it ?

Not trying to stay relevant or anything like that. I genuinely love this thread and especially do enjoy sharing things with you guys when I can. As you can imagine, keeping a lid on things is something I respect above anything else. But, I can tell you that I don't think I'm even aware of the exact batch Cliff and Jeff will be announcing but I was fortunate to be told other things that were coming that have still not been announced. At the end of the day, I'm a fan like you guys and the anticipation for these announcements are very exciting so lets all sit back, relax, speculate and have some fun

you're a great poster on here and i and many others value you're imput.
I also take heart that you have put Fright Night part 2 in your guesses a few times,which makes me hope that title may be in the works.

In other news, I've reached out to Bill Lustig of Blue Underground who was kind enough to have me sit in on a QC session for the "Zombie" Blu-ray sometime back, to see if he'd be interested in a similar comprehensive interview like the one I shot with Cliff. The timing would be perfect with Blue Undergrounds return and what not so keep your fingers crossed!
