Atleast we're getting hints and speculation that it could possibly be Scream Factory that will be bringing "Nightbreed: The Cabal Cut" to us. I mean we know for sure there will be some kind of announcement before the night is over regarding the film's release on home video formats, the only question is who? And what panel happens to coincide with this "announcement"? Shout!/Scream Factory.

Everything else is purely shots in the dark based on what studios Cliff has said they've been dealing with.

Scream Factory isn't releasing it, Warner has the rights and they're planning on releasing TCC.

Hope for one, pray for both, and get neither lol

I have learned to just stand pat and not get too worked up because if you don't get what you want, and think its going to happen you wind up deflated like after you open Christmas gifts.

It would be a blu ray dream (or hope) come true. This movie has never had a USA VHS or DVD release - in fact the best print out there is from Cinema de Bizarre - it blows away that crappy German version...It never made it to the MGM MOD lineup either which was odd

I would also love Pumpkinhead, Godzilla 1985 and Planet of Vampires...these plus the other 2 mentioned above are probably my biggest wish lists.

I do think we will get Shocker and/or People Under the Stairs - if I had to pick something I was sure of (and believe me I use sure very very very loosely) - this is a gut feeling of mine talking here.

so if Without Warning is announced can we have a virtual party afterwards ???
I really hope they announce it for you pal.I remember an interview with i think Cliff where he said someone kept asking for The Video Dead until they asked scream did they want it because they have this guy always askin for it so,lesson is,don't ask don't get,
With me there was no waiting,i wanted a special edition of Halloween 3 and they announced it first(with h2)
ever since its all been a bonus.I trust Scream,if they announce 10 titles id want 9.

Okay, we'll know for sure shortly I suppose.

Actually, while it's true Warner has rights to Nightbreed, a different studio will be releasing the Cabal Cut. It's a different movie altogether and I'll be surprise if it comes from Fox (the film's original distributor).

A movie got announced for real, but it wasn't from Scream.

The Shark Hunter (1979) blu-ray from RetroVision, a new horror label, formerly dvdRulers.

Officially two more hours, I believe, until panel begins.

I guess you could wait and see but that's like expecting rain from rocks. Warner doesn't license to labels like Scream Factory. They do license tv shows and that's about it. That being said, who knows?

Wait. And wait. And wait. It's 7:30 on the east coast! If this was NYCC, we'd know by now!

As a matter of fact, I've been following this thing since it's inception, Warner Bros. hasn't had any hand in this "Cabal Cut" project at all. It's all been about dealing with Morgan Creek. So you are correct, Warner Bros. can do whatever they want with the theatrical cut, but the "Cabal Cut" is an entirely different beast.

Initially I was worried we would only be getting "The Cabal Cut" then when it came to a blu-ray release, but I did question this and they replied that they are either trying to get the theatrical cut included or they already have confirmed it will also be apart of the release. I can't remember which answer they gave for sure.

As a small (although probably wrong) feeling rises up in me about these announcements, I feel that I must put on my Army of Darkness shirt and begin to chant "Klattu Barata Nikto".
Or: "Satan is good. Satan is our pal."

I could careless if "Scream" really gets to release it or not. I'm just eagerly awaiting official confirmation. And if Warner Bros. is releasing it, why wouldn't they just admit it and say so on the Occupy Midian Facebook page? They've said in the past that they were in talks with distributors.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if they got both cuts because it was a Criterion release. Clive Barker might just be artsy enough for Criterion.

Be a much better fit than the Michael Bay Criterion entries.

At least one Nic Cage movie is in there. Still waiting on Vampire's Kiss, Cliff.

Also, I'm pretty sure that MichaelBayFan disagrees.

I'd love it if Jessica Harper, Nell Campbell, Patricia Quinn, and Richard O'Brien could do a commentary on Shock Treatment...

Also, if you look at Scream's past releases, all roads lead to Phantom.
-William Finley=The Funhouse
-Jessica Harper=The Evictors
-Gerrit Graham=TerrorVision
