Want to? Sorry, but I highly doubt it.
Haha, I was afraid of that. Oh well I can live with the DVD release of that movie. Thanks for the response anyway though

It has been said many times that Psycho IV will be brought out if sales are strong enough for II and III.

I can't wait for Cat People. I saw it one time in 1982 or something close and never have seen it since. I remember it scared me then.

Universal has the rights so it's a definite possibility. Besides, they did say that if the sequels sell well they might release number 4.

I would love to see Scream Factory get the rights to the original Night Stalker movie with Darren McGavin. That movie scared the crap out of me when I was a kid and it actually has held up pretty well over the years.

Just watched Kiss of the Damned and it was phenomenal.
It made me want to rewatch my blu's of The Vampire Lovers and Twins of Evil just to relive that Hammer Horror style of Vampire movie!

So, if I could pick one Hammer-Vampire film (non-Dracula) for Scream to release, it would have to be the fantasticly freaky Lust for a Vampire, because its so good, and for the simple sake of complete the Karnstein Trilogy of The Vampire Lovers, Lust for a Vampire, and Twins of Evil on blu-ray.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lieberman released it himself on Blu-ray. You can currently buy Remote Control on DVD and Blu-ray from his site, limited to 1000 copies. I heard he may do this again with some of his other films. I'm hoping for Blue Sunshine myself. Code Red is putting out his Just Before Dawn.

I finally sat down to watch X-Ray yesterday. At first I thought I had popped in Bloody Birthday by mistake because the two lead kids from that film were also the two leads in the X-Ray prologue. Anyway, I enjoyed the film for what it was - a silly but fun horror flick. Barbi Benton was super hot. Kept making dumb decisions like
[Show spoiler]there's a killer after you - do you wait for the elevator or take the stairs?
but overall it was a fairly entertaining 85 minutes. On to Schizoid next. Very happy to have these on Blu.

-From Scream Factory's Facebook Page-

Check out what's coming up from Scream Factory in the month of September!

- Newly-designed artwork reveal for Collector's Editions of Night of the Demons and Cat People.

- Final list of extras for Night of the Comet, The Horror Show and Assault on Precinct 13.

- Exclusive clips for Day of the Dead and Prince of Darkness (both which street this month)

- Hopefully (fingers crossed) we can announce another popular 80s title that we are working on trying to secure. We'll let you know as soon as we get the green light to do so.

We'll likely have some more surprises too so keep checking back with us!

Why hasn't Scream Factory joined with Kristy Jett to get a BD/DVD combo pack of Popcorn? It seems like the two would go together perfectly.

Because it is in rights hell and Kristy Jett is just a part of it.

I am beginning to think that Code Red having ownership was just a bluff. Or, how about this... Code Red releases Kristy Jett's edition.

Boris Karloff's Die, Monster, Die! coming in early 2014 according to Scream's Twitter.

Quote:
SURPRISE TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT!

Ready to cruise back to the 60s? We are! The 1965 shocker DIE, MONSTER, DIE! (starring Frankenstein himself, Boris Karloff) will be coming to Blu-ray for the first time from us in the early part of 2014. No other details to report at this time.

Check out the artwork, which uses the original theatrical poster art--that we always find groovy.

Oh really? Awesome. Nice to see a 60's title, no offense and this is coming from someone who does 80's Horror but it's nice to some variety considering the abundance of 80's titles as it was starting to get boring.

I completely agree! Just team up, for the sake of the film and the fans.

But I think its the other way around on who's bluffing.

[Show spoiler]
Talk about a left field announcement. Apparently that MGM deal just keeps on giving.
