Yea I need to rant for a second.

I bought Lifeforce during the sale and got it yesterday. It was sent in a flimsy plastic packaging and the slip was jacked really bad. If they are going to charge their customers 5.99 to ship a single blu they should package it a bit better. I love this company and I love their products but I feel like I'd have even better luck with Amazon at this point.

I'm not going to order anything, purely out of protest

Yeah, the no free shipping deflates the bargain balloon for sure. Luckily, I ordered everything that I wanted last week during the sale.

Will I regret buying "Dark Angel"? I don't only like horror, I also like sh!t like "Cobra", "Commando", "Predator", "Robocop" ect. Someone please give me some guidance here while it's on sale. And I realize that this is probably very different from the films I mentioned, but I guess I just wanna know if it's actually good or entertaining and if I'll get a lot of mileage out of it?

If you like the stuff you listed above, you should like Dark Angel. I mean, it's Dolph vs. an alien drug dealer.... what' not to like?

The Shout! Factory store is not able to ship these titles outside of the US or Canada.

My only beef is that there's no commentary but then again it's not suppose to be a collector's edition is it?

I wish "The Nest" didn't have a DVD with it, seems all the DVD combos are priced for $14.99 or so, but a single blu-ray like "Dark Angel" is merely $11.99, which also has me wondering why the hell "The Stepfather" is $15.99

I agree. I missed out on the two I wanted last sale and the shipping kills this deal. I'm glad that I was able to get the ones I wanted though.

What do you guys expect a "free hand me out" for everything ? If you cant afford to buy, don't do it and quit bellyaching about every little thing, sales prices, free shipping..

Sorry if this sounds too harsh but if you're not working or not making enough to afford things even at a discounted price maybe you shouldn't collect movies. I know we all try to save money anyway possible including myself but there comes a point where whining about the sales ended to now the sales are back but not free shipping - enough is enough.
If you really want the lowest prices and shipping costs just order from Import CDs or just wait until a Black Friday sale ...

Where are those real fans who exclaimed *Day one for me* ? Did it turn into Day 365 or something ?

I know this will be a popular post but this whining about every little thing is getting really ridiculous
I just needed to vent this off my chest , so I apologize for the tone of this sounds

I think everyones complaining because the shipping makes most of the "sale prices" more than you would pay on a normal day at amazon.com.

They charge 6.99 for a DVD or Blu Ray movie, I do think that is high if it is first class, but if they use priority mail, that's still pretty fair.
Amazon is now 3.98 , Import CDs is 1.50 or something like that , Best Buy is free for some items. You just have to pick your poison ..
