^^^

I don't think most people are complaining they are simply stating that this deal isn't that good because the shipping isn't free.

I think that may just be a mistake...the email I received from them says free US shipping.

Sorry if this sounds too harsh but if you're not working or not making enough to afford things even at a discounted price maybe you shouldn't collect movies. I know we all try to save money anyway possible including myself but there comes a point where whining about the sales ended to now the sales are back but not free shipping - enough is enough.
If you really want the lowest prices and shipping costs just order from Import CDs or just wait until a Black Friday sale ...

Where are those real fans who exclaimed *Day one for me* ? Did it turn into Day 365 or something ?

I know this will be a popular post but this whining about every little thing is getting really ridiculous
I just needed to vent this off my chest , so I apologize for the tone of this sounds
Actually, your diatribe was by far higher on the 'complaining scale' than all the rest of the posts combined.

Exactly.
Well how would you feel reading pages of diatribes over sales and shipping gripes.
And if the shipping isn't free, I don't need to read pages of whines about it, just don't buy the movies then
Put that in your pipe and smoke it
And it feels good to vent to be perfectly honest.

Yea and they are retracting now. Check out their fb page. They are catching hell about it because they arent giving free shipping. I'm more pissed about the shitty shipping they use and my jacked up slip than the cost of it. But as everyone else has said, you can go to amazon any given day for cheaper now.

I wasn't offended as it didn't come off as whining to me.

Even if it was whining, why can't they vent about it? I'm just not understanding your double standard....

Regardless, I got everything I wanted last week when shipping was free. If they hadn't offered the free shipping last week, I wouldn't have ordered.

Because its constant that's why. First we get endless vents about the sales, then when the shipping isn't free then there are even more vents. It's like no matter what Scream Factory does there are these endless whines and rants over everything. It seems like whatever they do to appease the fans we still get gripes as if nothing will ever make them happy. It's not a perfect world, no studio is perfect. But enough of all this negativity. Life is too short to be griping over $5.00 or $10.00 for one thing.
Here -
We get sales - first we get complaints that about titles in the sale, then we get complaints that the sale ended and some didn't get what they wanted to in time - And just for the fans, - Scream has brought back the sale, but now the shipping isn't free. Spoiled basically. Some of us just appreciate what Scream is doing, remember they don't have to do anything at all for us. I still find it really interesting that these fans who love Scream Factory and had the *day 1* excitement waited a full year to get titles that they clamored about such as Halloween III..

I wouldn't call it a double standard, I along with others Im sure would prefer not read whiny posts that sound like they come from spoiled children. I spoke up because reading about it everywhere is really tiring..
Id prefer to read information about an upcoming release like Slumber Party Massacre or that Scream has Sleepaway Camp on their radar, wouldn't you ?

Me too ! Cant blame me for speaking up about it - at least I have the balls to speak up about something that to me is bothersome. You can call it complaining about complaints if you want to..but at least I don't complain about frivolous things. If it didn't bother me I wouldn't speak up.
Why should we read about endless complaints. Ive said my peace.

Judging from the reviews, I haven't missed much by ignoring all of the new Scream efforts.

The problem wasn't so much the overcharging on shipping... it was that they sent an email out saying "free shipping" and then pulled the rug out from under you when you visited the site... then they sent another email out later retracting the offer for free shipping.

IF they had never sent the "free shipping" email, then I bet there would have been less complaints.

This means we should keep the DVD if we want the other commentary, as it doesn't sound like its being ported over if they made a new one...
Sounds like Q the Winged Serpent again
