Shocker , one of the worst movies ever? I can think of Wes Craven films worse.

My Soul To Take
Cursed
Vampire in Brooklyn
Red Eye

just to name a few that i think are worse then Shocker.

I just went back through old posts from the begging of the Scream Factory thread and I'm amazed at how many titles people asked for that have now been released. I'm so happy Shout/Scream exist they truly do understand the fans.

Shocker is far from the worst film ever.
I'd consider it one of Craven's best. Its fun, nothing to complain about whatsoever from em or anyone I've ever viewed the film with.

I don't remember much about it, other than I rented it when it was first released on VHS, and I watched it while working on an 8th grade art project. (I wish my short term memory was this good. )

To me all of the above listed movies are better than Shocker.

Really? Cursed was quite bad. Not fun-bad either. Just boring with horrible CG effects.

Also, has anyone else expected WB to put out a 4 Film Favorites Wes Craven Collection with ANOES 1, Deadly Friend, Vampire in Brookylyn and Red Eye (with New Nightmare also being a possibility)?

Believe it or not, I can find some redeeming qualities in those movies. Shocker was totally awful with horrible execution all around. I remember the day that I watched that and Hellraiser III together for the first time was one of the most disappointing days of my life.

I liked Vampire in Brooklyn. It was a genre that Eddie Murphy had never attempted, and I thought it was a decent effort at horror/comedy. It was also one of the last movies Eddie Murphy was actually funny in. The Nutty Professor and Life are the only two movies he's made since Vampire in Brooklyn where Eddie Murphy is still the same guy I grew up loving in the 80's. The younger generation are probably wondering why this guy is even famous with all the crap he pumps out these days.

Something just roused my imagination. Is Shout Factory really going to release Roller Boogie? I realize that the Scream Factory announcement was a joke, but will it happen for Shout? Has anything been said about it since April?

Anything with a young Linda Blair in HD is welcome.

I would legit love Exorcist II on Blu Ray for that reason.

Yerp. I'm not going to lie. I do like Daddy Day Care to a certain extent, but that is because of the wonderful supporting cast. I don't think he had an enjoyable movie since Beverly Hills Cop III. (Yes. I enjoyed the third one. Want to fight about it?)

Daddy Day Care was a family movie which are the type of movies his career has mostly consisted of since the 90's ended . That's definitely not the Eddie of the 80's.

I did like all 3 Beverly Hills Cop movies. There is supposed to be a Beverly Hills Cop 4 in the works for 2014 or 2015. Hopefully it resurrects Eddie's career.

Beverly Hills Cop 4 has been on and off since the 90s. I'll see it when it happens, but I'm not holding my breath, just like Jurassic World. It'll probably bury his career.

*swerve*

Going through my 'VHS Art from Childhood' folder, I have to say that when Scream releases Pumpkinhead (because they just have to - really, they do), they need to use this as the slipcover art:

Honestly, I LOVE ROLLER BOOGIE and I'd buy it in a second. I have the DVD. Beleive it or not, it's played on TCM.
