Has anyone ever asked about the MGM-controlled Suture (1993)? It could work within the Scream Factory label even though it's not exactly straight forward horror.

Cat People will probably be the first Scream Factory title where I will not be using the slipcover. It's not just my least favorite cover, but I love looking at Nastassja Kinski and that original poster art is just too, um, nice

All of my SF titles have come with slipcovers, whether or not they are from Amazon.

That would be very expensive. Three commissioned artworks, two that wouldn't even be used? No thanks.

The current system is fine. One new art (almost always looks great), and a theatrical poster. Perfect combo, because there's typically gonna be one that each individual customer likes.

I do like the idea of holding a facebook poll, possibly, for which Theatrical/Video poster to use on the reversible wrap. They've already dabbled with that for From Beyond.

The Shout Factory titles that are in store do not have the slips on them.

They are now shrink wrapped over the slipcover, so unless you wait months (after release) to get any future CE's, you'll probably get the slip from now on.

Good to know Thanks, I was irritated with a couple I bought that did not come with one. I like having the Shout artwork for the slip and the original art on the inside.

They could hire an in-house artist instead of paying 3 guys to come up with art that only a handful of people admit to liking. That is, if they want to keep doing these slipcovers. I think we, the consumers who buy this stuff, should have a say in what the final art will be. Personally, I prefer original poster art. NOTHING beats original art.

There are just as many people who think the opposite and prefer new art over old. Maybe they should also do slip covers with the original art on the inside. You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.
