Now someone here said that Scream revealed on their own facebook that someone else had the rights to Burnt Offerings, but I haven't seen that post myself.
If TT gets Pumpkinhead I'm going to be super pissed.

I imagine they'd do Burnt Offerings.

Why is that? Are TT known for releasing bad transfers? I don't think I have many movies from them.

I would love SF to get this one simply for the possibility of custom artwork.

I wouldn't say I hate it but not really something I would watch over and over. I have seen it twice and just thought it was average.

I personally don't care for them too much. I only have Night of the Living Dead 90' (which had an awful transfer) but I don't fetishize the notion of actual 'limited editions', so the idea of shelling out 30-40 bucks for movies that are usually found for 5 bucks in DVD bargain bins isn't too appealing. Especially considering they lack original artwork you'd find with other brands that ask for that much money (Criterion, Scream Factory), but they do occasionally have solid extras. I do like that they always have isolated scores, for example.

The real reason I get upset when I hear that a movie I love will get the TT treatment is because they are a distributor that only caters to people who already love the film. I want as wide an audience as possible to discover the films I love in HD... You won't hear a lot about people "discovering" TT titles because they are a very limited number of copies at a crazy price.

Thanks for the response. Now that I think about it I bought the two Sinbad films from them.

You're happy with cheap bargain bin DVDs that's fine - some of us want better products. If that means paying more so be it. Thankfully, for you bargain hunters, there's no shortage of Walmarts so you'll always have those dump bins to dive into.

You're making the classic mistake of equating amount paid for quality acquired.

Love or hate Twilight Time... there is a truth in play here that they are selling movies for $30+ that if Scream did them would sell for $20-$25 and if Mill Creek or Echo Bridge did them would sell for $5-$10.

The Scream ones would have a butt-load of extras... but the Twilight Time release would be virtually indistinguishable from that of Echo Bridge or Mill Creek... that being, no extras.

The argument is that TT isn't worth the price, the transfer isn't all that great and extras are slim to none and you pay 30-45 dollars a title, SF gets a hold of these titles they actually put a plethora of extras annd only charge 18-25 dollars for a title.

Not only rapist squirrels, but a homicidal wheelchair as well. That one will be ordered as soon as it goes up...

Yeah, I'm a die-hard Brad Jones fan...

Off topic again, but OMFG this is hands down the ugliest photoshopped cover ever, from Echo Bridge. I just had to share...
