Who would buy them as they stand now!? The PQ/AQ is dreadful.

Howling II would be perfectly perfect, even if solo. Although Id love to buy them all, if only they'd release them in good quality.

As I said, I doubt any of the Howling sequels sold well. Look, I doubt they'll get the Scream Factory treatment especially the second film if the sales were unsatisfactory. I mean, may I remind you guys what Cliff told me about Nomads?

There is a major series celebrating it's 35th anniversary this year, but it's unclear whether the rights with it's previous distributor really have lapsed or are about to.

There are also a couple films that remain unspoken for and might warrant treatment beyond "Collector's Edition" status in and of themselves.

Was browsing through Fox films, and found this. Anyone know anything about it? Seems like its another one that hasn't been released since VHS, if ever

Arrow already has an incredible Blu Ray of this. I doubt Scream could improve on it at all.

If you are region free, I strongly recommend it.

Savage Harvest, MGM owns that given it's a United Artists film.

And I would absolutely love it if Scream put them out. We know they're interested; they did release one of them, after all...

A Savage Harvest/In The Shadow of Kilimanjaro double feature pack would be fantastic, being thematically similar and two MGM titles never released on DVD. Great artwork in both cases:

I'm pretty sure Kilimanjaro is with MGM anyway.

The Howling II is feverishly requested on facebook. I can understand the oversight of it earlier, but obviously its got a large enough fan base to warrant some type of treatment.

I mean if something like Hellhole is coming, not much can be off-limits at this point, that's not a knock on SF at all, its just that they have built up a big enough fanbase of people that buy almost everything in the line, they don't seem to be afraid of taking a risk.

Regardless of whether they could or could not improve on it, the US doesn't have a release and there is demand in the American home video market... So...

AND I've never seen In the Shadow of Kilimajaro... But it looks amazing (and cheesy )

And what series would that be then, mate?

Does anybody know if the original camera negatives of Ginger Snaps is being used for the upcoming blu ray?

I would buy the shit of those Africa movies, they sound brilliant.

I really hope they get picked up now, they're the kind of amazing sounding obscurities I wished studios could release more often

The AB Phantasm DVD is still in print. Any chance of them doing a 35th Anniversary Blu-ray themselves? They're usually not one to miss out on a big anniversary of a big horror title.

Then again, they sold off (or lost the rights?) to a lot of big horror titles over the years (Re-Animator, Hellraiser, etc). Does anyone know if Anchor Bay still has the rights to Phantasm 1, 3, 4?

They do, sadly. Coscarelli (or his father?) have the rights, so if and when the contract expires, they will probably find a home here.

Hellraiser and Children of the Corn, amongst many others, were Lakeshore and were lost because the person who Lakeshore works with went to Image.
Re-Animator is owned by Stuart Gordon, who probably sold to the highest bidder. If he were to go back with his knowledge of From Beyond's release, I imagine it would now be a Scream title.

A Phantasm set would be killer, and something I could really get excited about. I grabbed the Vincent Price and Amityville sets last year but those films aren't personal favorites. The Phantasm series is a huge longtime favorite and I'd welcome a nice collection. It still wouldn't top something like The Final Terror for me, though

It's personal for me too. Phantasm was the third slasher film I ever watched, after Halloween 1&2. But would a set be worth a double dip on 2? I mean, I would because I only have it on DVD, but would you?

An ideal solution would be for Shout to release a box set of I, III and IV with an open slot for II for those of us who already purchased it. Which would be, um , anyone who is a true fan.
