No love for Hellhole? It's technically not horror, more like Women-in-Prison, but still horrific
![]() Without Warning and Final Terror coming to Blu-ray is exciting beyond belief. Enough to make my whole year but there's of course a ton of stuff I'm also thrilled with: Deadly Eyes (never seen it but have heard good things about it), Final Exam, Sleepaway Camp (finally uncut and remastered), Ravenous, Dog Soldiers & Ginger Snaps - all excellent newer films that badly needed special treatment. And the best part is they still have more announcements! |

Just because the films were personal favorites that I'd lost hope on. I had been waiting for 30+ years..lol.. I'm not shocked from doubting Scream would ever release these films, but shocked that the films are finally here after so many years of dreaming of a decent release for both films.

My subjective-fu beats your subjective-fu! Without Warning wipes the floor with Leviathan, if you insist to compare cinematic values. It's an excellent B-movie mix of Alien invasion and slasher movie, with a couple of fun performances and some genuinely creepy scenes. And of course it was ripped off in a certain well-known horror-sci-fi franchise, whereas Leviathan on the other hand was the one doing the ripping off. |

This is without a doubt one of the releases from SF I have been most excited about at all! A local Danish distributor I know tried to put a DVD out a couple of years ago but ran into a wall of rights issues and getting access to a print. I was slowly beginning to lose hope we would ever see a genuine legit release (I understand the German DVD release was somewhat doubtful). When I grew up, I watched this several times on one of the German TV stations we could receive - with Palance and co. dubbed in German of course! I always found the night scenes genuinely creepy. Can't wait to rematch it in good quality. |

I'm hoping they find good elements for Hellhole but I'm relieved it wasn't the other way around and the issue was with Final Terror ![]() ![]() |

I seriously wonder why To All a Goodnight has yet to get a DVD release? Does it have rights issues? Fatal Games is another slasher I've always wanted to see; but it's been relegated to VHS only...Funny thing is, both titles were put out by Media Home Entertainment on video.

I think they are saving more MGM titles. Pumpkinhes might be on their slate, but they could be holding off for a Halloween release, same goes for Dolls, etc. They'd fit the October atmosphere pretty well.
Hell, they may have even snagged New Year's Evil and To All A Goodnight for the Holidays! ![]() |

Not sure if "To All a Goodnight" has any rights issues, but there is a new widescreen print I rented on Comcast's on-demand service. |

![]() Exorcist III at least has a DVD release, but yeah, I'd be interested in some extra features on that. It's a pretty good movie up until the last act when studio interference demanded an exorcism. Razorback is coming out on bluray in Australia soon, maybe scream can release it too. I'll probably buy the australian version if I don't hear news. That's easily one of my favorite jaws rip-offs, it has really great atmosphere. |

Creature was shortly released on DVD by the director himself last year, in a fresh and apparently quite good transfer. Unfortunately he pulled it again in anticipation of a deal which never materialized. |

These are the big ones on this list for me. I have a horrible bootleg of Split Second I got at a horror convention many years ago so at least I can watch it from time to time, but it needs a good blu-ray release.

Well it looks like Scream Factory answered dsman71's Without Warning prayers. So I'm hoping Shout Factory will answer mine in the not too distant future as well and release some more ninja flicks. What I would really like is Dudikoff and Kosugi boxsets that feature each actor's three best movies. With the documentary Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films coming out this summer, there is no better time to release these movies. I hope the sales of Ninja 3 alone are not the final deciding factor in putting something like this together.
Michael Dudikoff - American Ninja, Avenging Force, American Ninja 2 Sho Kosugi - Revenge of the Ninja, Ninja 3: The Domination, Pray for Death (Uncut) I'm pretty sure MGM has the rights to all. |
