I believe the picture your referring to is of Werner Herzog and it's for a box set of his films and I believe that Amazon has the pre order up where you can tell the picture Shout had shown was the cover of the set. The only Scream worthy title in it would be 1979's Nosferatu which is already up for pre order.

The top two on that DVD set are coming out on blu-ray from Shout as well, if I'm not mistaken.

Witchboard was also released at this price point and it has as many special features as some of the collector's editions.

As always, thank you for the heads up, Akijama!
Preordered Ginger Snaps, and couldn't preorder Lake Placid fast enough!

Some titles like Killer Shrews I doubt theyd be interested in releasing..and are with Image/Wade Williams so they are unlikely anyway.
To be honest I wish they could get some of them. I didnt bold the Godzilla movies because Toho is dangling Son of Godzilla and Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla 1974 at the moment.. Godzilla 1985 - when it become available from Toho would be a good one for Scream..but that is another story for another year.
I disagree with a lot of the ones you bolded. I wouldn't delete Universal titles from the list, or even Sony for that matter. Just because they don't have any releases planned for this year, doesn't mean another deal won't be made next year. I would say it's very likely as MGM only owns so many worthwhile titles. Same with the Miramax library, until we know how got them, I wouldn't be so quick to delete them from the list. There's a good chance Scream picked these up.

Bubba Ho Te, Child's Play sequels, Village of the Damned, Creature, etc. are all titles I could see Scream one day releasing. I definitely wouldn't say there's no chance Scream won't release them. I can actually almost guarantee that we will see some of these next year. Don't know why you bolded Troll either as that's MGM. Dr. Giggles on the other hand is definitely a title that can go, as it's owned by Warner.

Glad to see it finally getting a release, but disappointed it's not on Blu, and in 3D. These budget releases are a blessing and a curse. I'm glad to see some of these titles finally getting a release, but disappointed to see them thrown in a budget pack.

I also don't like how some of the titles on these packs are redundant as they release half of them on Blu-ray. If they can't release some of these titles on Blu due to lack of quality materials, then she should make a budget pack of four titles that won't hit Blu, so I'm not buying titles twice.

TTTDS had a whole other film (The Evictors) as a bonus feature. So far, there hasn't been much letdown between CEs and standard releases from my perspective. I preordered Final Terror and Lake Placid last night with my last clutch of March Madness coupons. This was their best sale yet, in my opinion. They didn't hold back on listing preorders during the sale and, with the discounts, I got near-amazon prices on everything I ordered and still have $60 in credits to spend on future releases. Good deal all around.

Im just bolded as it stands and how I feel right now. I doubt anything will change with Sony in the next year..and just because they make another deal with Universal does not mean those titles will get releases. Scream has already stated that they do not have Creature aka Titan Find and Bubba Ho Tep. Anything from Warner, Lionsgate , Sony, at this point are no goes and while they can make a deal with Universal it wouldn't be for all the titles on the list. That doesn't mean I personally wouldn't want them though. I did not bold the Halloween Miramax Halloween movies because I think Scream could get those...
Others I cant see them going after ..

But I think the whole point of the list poll is to gauge what films people are interested in and hope Scream will release, not what they have now. That would kind of defeat the purpose. If they see Bubba Ho Tep has a large audience you can bet they will release it. Scream has been all over the place with their releases so I wouldn't say Troll, Bubba Ho Tep, Creature, etc. are beneath them. MGM has a lot to offer but they can't survive releasing low tier titles, scraping the bottom of MGMs barrel. As for Sony, I'm willing to bet they will have made a deal next year. Again, to survive they are going to expand their options, as they need bigger titles to survive. And we still don't know who got the Miramax catalog.

In my opinion (And it's just my opinion, it's really up to Wolfking), I would just delete the titles that they have no chance of getting, ie. Warner titles, Dark Sky, Scorpion, Blue Underground, Synapse, etc. and go from there. Maybe this will show Scream that Howling 2, or Troll has a huge audience.

Unless the poll is just to hope/ guess what remaining titles will be released this year, which in that case is probably only a handful plus the Price collection, and doesn't really need a poll for as they probably already have them.

I never said that they are beneath certain titles. Only that they have shot down titles such as Creature and Bubba Ho Top and the Howling II .. There are titles that Scream has said that they are not pursuing and then there are titles that they tried to get but couldn't -
I don't see anything with Sony yet. They cant even get the MST3K movies that Sony owns the rights to from them (that's for the Shout DVD sets) Until I see a title from Sony's library I will just call it unlikely. They are dealing with Twilight Time
The poll only makes sense if its titles that have a real chance of getting acquired.. Any fan can hope for a movie from Scream Factory, but if it's a movie like the Keep or Creepshow they will be hoping forever because they cant get them from the studios that own them. I hoped that they would get Without Warning since its with MGM and they got it. They have a deal with Fox and Im hoping for the Fly II. Im sure Scream will continue to seek all avenues that they can get. They could even get more Code Red titles if they wanted to under the assumption Evilspeak and Final Exam do well.
And I have a feeling SF did get some of the Miramax titles..

I can see October's line-up already:
Halloween 6 Producer's Cut CE
Lord of Illusions Director's Cut CE
Nightbreed Director's Cut CE
Vincent Price Collection Volume 2

If Miramax does happen, September would likely be...
Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice
Dracula 2000 CE
From Dusk Till Dawn CE
Halloween H20 CE
Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth CE

[Rec] 2 (2009) - Magnolia
At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul (1964) - I believe Synapse has the rights to the Coffin Joe films
Big Trouble in Little China (1986) - Fox already released a Blu-Ray for this film
Clownhouse (1989) - If you know the background for this film, you'd realize this is never, ever going to happen. Even if MGM made it available, I don't think Shout! Factory would risk the PR-nightmare and potential fallout with some of it's existing licensors in other areas of their home video division.
Damien: Omen II (1978) - Fox already released this film on Blu-Ray
Dawn of the Dead (2004) - Universal already released this film on Blu-Ray.

Ernest Scared Stupid (1991) - Mill Creek already released this film on Blu-Ray.
Flatliners (1990) - Sony already released this film on Blu-Ray
Frankenstein Unbound (1990) - Fox licensed this film to Anchor Bay for a DVD release. I don't think they'll license the Blu-Ray to a separate company.

Happy Birthday to Me (1981) - Mill Creek already released this film on Blu-Ray.
Horror of Dracula (1958) - Warner Brothers
House on Haunted Hill (1959) - The film might be public domain, but the best elements are probably in the Warner Brothers film vaults.
House on Haunted Hill (1999) - Warner Brothers
I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) - Sony already released this film on Blu-Ray
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998) - Sony already released this film on Blu-Ray
I Walked with a Zombie (1943) - Warner brothers
I Was a Teenage Werewolf (1957) - Susan Hart

Wolf (1994) - Sony already released this film on Blu-Ray

Films like Carrie, The Thing or Escape from New York might warrant double dips even though they already have Blu-Rays. A lot of these other titles probably have marginal double dip potential for any number of reasons.
