Scream Factory should do a Blu-Ray of Hero and The Terror. My favorite Cannon film. I used to watch it all the time on USA or a similar channel.

I hope Sleepaway Camp doesn't end up with compression issues, You woulda thought the compression issue would have popped up on one release and then Shout Factory would of had the sense to fix it after that. Arrow is still a better BD distributer.

What would you have them do? Wait until it ships to charge you and then honor any or all of the promotions that occurred in the interim? If you need to secure a poster and some cardboard and a nurse's hat, then you pay full freight unless you get lucky and they're running a sale when the preorder goes up... like they were the entire month of March and the first week of April. Jesus Christ we are an entitled lot.

Yeah, that's how amazon does it. I'm not going to cancel it or anything I'm just like "DOH" [Homer Simpson voice]. I did the same thing with Arrow preorders a month or two ago where they dropped them like 10 dollars the week after I did it.

Yikes, that artwork is fugly. Can't blame Shout for it, though, since this film has never had good art. I'm just glad it's coming to Blu.

I hope this update means we're getting closer to finding out the specs for Final Terror

I would assume there will be a couple of extras or more, as long as does not look like the VHS release I might take a look at this again. I saw it a long time ago , I didn't think it was too terribly special but with an improved transfer where we could SEE some of what's happening it might be better

Those are some nice extras. Too bad there isn't better original art. Those posters really misrepresent the atmosphere of the film to its detriment. The movie is way better than that generic, photoshopped tripe would lead you to believe.

I think Ravenous was one of those films that was always destined to be a cult classic. It must have been impossible for the marketing team to convey the black comedy and horror together.

That being said, I don't think the original theatrical poster art is terrible. It is iconic in its own way. This was after all the Scream-era of clever taglines and flashy marketing for horror. I guess the same is true today.
